Job description

• We are looking for creative Pastry Chef to be responsible for crafting delicious pastries and confectioneries, you should be passionate about baking and be inspired to create masterpieces that go beyond customer's expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• liasing with other chef to ensure a successuful working enviroment
• creating pastries( meat-pie, chicken -pie, doughnuts, chin-chin e.t.c and cofectioneries by following a set of recipe.
• Decorating pastries to ensure ensure beautiful and tasty presentation
• Ensuring the section of the kitchen is clean always.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma
• Post-secondary training in a related field
• Keen attention to details
• Creative ability with artistic skills
• Experience working with the food industry as a pastry chef, baker or relvant role
• Capable of working in a fast paced production enviroment.
• Must be male for gender balance.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders and communicating them effectively to the kitchen.
• Memorizing the menu and offering recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, or drinks.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language using appropriate etiquette.
• Always respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Should be fully aware of the menu along with their prices.
• Establish rapport with guests to build loyal and satisfied customers.
• Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and any special offers.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess OND or similar qualifications
• Knowledge of computers, POS - Point of sales system.
• 1 to 2 years’ proven restaurant serving or waitering experience.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work longer hours as per business demand.
• Be courteous, professional and provide efficient service
• Presentable, smart, and young.
• Must be very hardworking and honest with keen attention to cleanliness, safety, patience and customer-oriented approach,
• Must have friendly attitude, responsible and trustworthy.
