    Managing Director- Norrenberger Entrepreneurship Fund

    Job Summary:

    As Managing Director of the Norrenberger Entrepreneurship Fund, you will champion the execution of the Fund’s vision, strategic planning, financial management, fundraising and grant making operations that support the overall objective of the Entrepreneurship Fund.

    Responsibilities:

    • Mission Stewardship: Work with the board and staff to define the Fund’s mission, communicate it effectively within the organization, and ensure that it serves continuously as an inspiration and guide.
    • Board Relations: Work with the board to ensure that it is properly constituted and trained to conduct effective governance.
    • Values and Ethical Standards Management: Work with the board and staff to ensure adoption of and adherence to appropriate values and ethical standards in all foundation business.
    • Develop an annual fundraising plan to support the Fund’s strategic plan and program improvement objectives.
    • Support the implementation of private fundraising at NEF in coordination with the Fund’s Board, industry partners, and corporate, foundation and government entities.
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Fund including overseeing grant administration and operations and ensure compliance with all policies as well as legal and contractual obligations.
    • Oversee budgeting, Investments, and annual financial audits required for the healthy operation of the Fund.
    • Develops, recommends, and administers policies, procedures and processes in support of Foundation goals and operations, in accordance with relevant legal parameters, and implements and monitors compliance with approved policies, procedures and processes.
    • Work with the Board and investment advisors to ensure that the Fund's investments and financial management are effective and appropriately aligned with the Fund's vision and mission.
    • Lead the Board in its strategic planning and establishes objectives based on goals and budget considerations agreed upon by the Board.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience, with at least five (5) years’ experience in a grant-making foundation/non-profit
    • Familiarity with Nigeria’s non-profit landscape
    • Experience in an International NGO is advantageous.
    • A history of strong collaboration, leading and championing strategic partnerships.
    • Good track record leading and building high performing teams.
    • Masters’ degree in a Finance related field.

    Performance Analyst

    Job Summary:

    As a Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking aspects of performance and financial management, including and supporting corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and budget and forecasts preparation. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the financial and risk management operations of the company by designing, implementing, monitoring and measuring financial performance within the company.

    • ICAN, ACCA or similar professional qualification is required.
