    Medical Activity Manager - NIMERT

    Main Purpose

    • Defining, coordinating, and monitoring the medical activities under his/her responsibility according to MSF protocols, standards, and procedures in order to ensure the delivery of quality medical care for patients and their communities as well as to improve the health condition of the target population.

    Job Description

    • Coordinating, assessing, and supervising the proper functioning of the medical activities (HIV, TB STIs, SGBV, etc.), according to MSF protocols, standards, and procedures and through the correct compilation and analysis of medical data regarding patients’ health conditions.
    • Participating in the definition of annual planning and budget for the project and in the follow up of the programs / project. Supervising and ensuring that medical activities objectives under his/her responsibility are achieved, reporting to the technical referent any problem arising in the service.
    • Checking all administrative procedures related to patients’ follow-up (individual card filling, registers, paper exit, discharge, transfers ...) are carried out correctly and according to MSF procedures.
    • Ensuring an efficient pharmacy management and monitoring the rational use of them. In coordination with the project biomedical service supervising the appropriate use of medical devices and anticipating future needs.
    • Preparing the medical orders needed to implement the medical activities under his/her responsibility, and identifying and reporting to the line manager, non-medical support needs (material, infrastructure, transport, etc.)
    • Coordinating and monitoring the daily working plan of the team under his/her responsibility (absent personnel, vacations, tracking leaves ...). Participating in shifts and replaces a doctor, if necessary
    • Planning and supervising, in close coordination with the HR department, the associated processes (recruitment, training, performance evaluation, development and internal communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility in order to improve staff capabilities and to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required.
    • Participating in the monthly reports according to guidelines (i.e. SitReps, medical statistical reports, etc.).

    Requirements

    • Educational Qualification: Essential Medical Doctor Degree. Desirable specialization or training in Tropical Medicine or related studies
    • Experience: Essential 2 year working experience related to the diploma/degree and previous experience in MSF in the field.
    • Language: Essential English and Local languages are desirable
    • Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
    • Competencies: Strategic vision, Leadership, People Management, Service Orientation, Teamwork and Cooperation.

    Logistics Supervisor

    Main Purpose

    • Supervising the daily logistics activities and providing maintenance to the MSF equipment, facilities, and infrastructures according to MSF standards and protocols to maintain the facilities in perfect condition and collaborate in the development of the mission.

    Job Description

    • Monitoring maintenance activities of infrastructures, and management of non-medical stocks and equipment according to MSF standards.
    • Ensuring the check and follow-up of facilities under the line manager's supervision through daily visits to the facilities and reporting any anomalies or problems, evaluation of the rehabilitation needs and following up minor building rehabilitation work according to supervisor's instructions; checking that premises observe security norms and monitoring the consumption of mechanical and electrical vehicles/machines/devices.
    • Planning together with the line manager the required checks and maintenance activities of energy systems/setup according to MSF standards.
    • Coordinating and leading the logistics team under his/her responsibility which includes daily supervision, monitoring of the quality of work and the definition of each person's task, drawing up their working schedules; organizing and leading team meetings; participating in the recruitment of team personnel and attending logistics meetings and accounting for his activities.
    • Ensuring the vehicle fleet maintenance which includes planning and overseeing timely preventive and curative maintenance of all project vehicles according to MSF standards and instructing and monitoring drivers on correct driving habits and standard checks.
    • Managing and following up orders which includes collecting logistics orders coming from different departments or health facilities; drawing up and following up orders according to the procedures in force; providing technical support to the storekeeper, makes local purchases according to MSF supply procedures and ensures reception conditions of freight or arriving material as well as the organization and setting up of materials before its shipment.

    Requirements

    • Education: Essential secondary education; formal technical training is desirable.
    • Experience: At least 1-year certified work experience with MSF or 2 years in another NGO is desirable.
    • Language: Essential English; local languages are desirable.
    • Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (Word, Excel, and Internet).
