    Nurse (Occupational Health Centre)

    We are seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nurse to provide medical care, emergency response, and health surveillance services within our factory environment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide first aid and emergency medical care for workplace injuries and illnesses
    • Conduct health screenings and periodic medical examinations
    • Maintain accurate medical records and incident reports
    • Monitor employee health in high-risk areas and manage occupational health risks
    • Promote employee wellness through health education and campaigns
    • Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, Nigerian health regulations, and safety standards

    Requirements

    • Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) with valid NMCN licence
    • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial/occupational health setting
    • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (advantage)
    • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS)/First Aid certification
    • Experience handling workplace or chemical-related health issues is an added advantage

    Skills

    • Strong clinical and emergency response skills
    • Excellent documentation and reporting ability
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality

    Working Conditions

    • Based at the factory’s Occupational Health Centre with emergency response across all site areas
    • Exposure to agrochemicals, fumes, noise, and heat during emergency situations
    • Mandatory use of PPE in production and hazardous areas
    • Standard hours with on-call duties during shifts, weekends, and public holidays
    • Must be physically fit to handle emergency response, including patient lifting and transport
