    Management Accountant

    Job Summary

    • The Management Accountant is responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and management information to support strategic and operational decision-making.
    • The role requires a highly experienced ICAN-qualified professional with strong technical accounting expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
    • The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, cost control, performance analysis, and business support, ensuring accurate financial insights that drive organisational performance and profitability.

    Key Responsibilities
    Financial Reporting & Management Accounts:

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
    • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and internal policies
    • Analyse financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
    • Provide variance analysis with clear explanations and recommendations

    Budgeting & Forecasting:

    • Lead the annual budgeting process across departments
    • Develop financial forecasts and rolling projections
    • Work closely with business units to ensure alignment of financial plans with operational objectives
    • Monitor budget performance and highlight deviations

    Cost Control & Financial Analysis:

    • Analyse cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation

    • Provide detailed profitability and performance analysis by project, department, or business unit
    • Support pricing decisions through financial modelling and analysis

    Financial Controls & Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
    • Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
    • Support internal and external audit processes
    • Review and strengthen financial procedures where necessary

    Business Support & Decision Making:

    • Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions
    • Prepare management reports and dashboards for executive review
    • Support investment appraisals and capital expenditure decisions
    • Partner with operational teams to improve financial performance

    Systems & Process Improvement:

    • Drive efficiency in financial reporting processes and systems
    • Support ERP / system enhancements and data integrity initiatives
    • Automate reporting processes where possible to improve accuracy and speed

    • Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports

    Qualifications & Experiences

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • ICAN qualification is mandatory
    • Minimum of 5 – 8 years relevant experience in management accounting or financial reporting
    • Strong experience in preparing management accounts and financial analysis
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) is an advantage
    • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills

    Project Manager, Electrical & Instrumentation (Oil & Gas)

    Description

    • We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager, Electrical and Instrumentation with strong oil and gas experience to drive the execution of complex E&I projects across upstream, midstream, or downstream operations.
    • The role requires deep technical expertise in electrical systems, instrumentation, and control within hazardous and high compliance environments, combined with strong project delivery capability.
    • The ideal candidate will manage full project lifecycle delivery while ensuring alignment with industry standards, safety regulations, and commercial targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead end to end execution of Electrical and Instrumentation projects within oil and gas facilities
    • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, scope, and resource plans in line with EPC standards
    • Oversee design, installation, testing, and commissioning of E&I systems including PLC, SCADA, and DCS
    • Ensure compliance with international oil and gas standards such as IEC, NEC, ATEX, and ISO requirements
    • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
    • Manage contractors, subcontractors, and OEM vendors to ensure performance delivery and cost efficiency
    • Drive HSE compliance, ensuring zero harm culture across all project sites
    • Identify and manage project risks, including technical, operational, and commercial exposures

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline
    • Minimum of 13 years’ experience in Electrical and Instrumentation within the oil and gas sector
    • Proven experience managing E&I projects in upstream, midstream, or downstream operations
    • Strong knowledge of hazardous area classification and explosion proof systems
    • Hands on experience with control systems such as PLC, SCADA, and DCS
    • Experience working within EPC project environments
    • PMP or equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred
    • Strong understanding of HSE regulations within oil and gas operations
    • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capability
