Work Experience

Work Experience

Roles and Responsibilities
The logistics Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
- Manage day-to-day incoming and outgoing field materials and equipment, as well as managesafety and environmental issues in his/her area of activities
- Log in, Monitor, control and record movement and issuance of materials to various field locations
- Be on daily communications with the Asset Planner, Material Expediters (IA), and various field schedulers regarding the movement and reception of materials and equipment to/from the fields.
- Be abreast of the availability of various transportation media to promptly move equipment and materials in and out of Kidney Island to/from the field locations, Shell IA or Contractor bases (third parties)
- Ensure equipment and materials are safely packaged, loaded, and secured on Trucks and barges, to eliminate falling, rolling and any damage to materials through weather, waves and strong winds
- Prepare appropriate dispatching documentation for loaded vehicles/barges.
- Ensure Vehicles and barges are properly checked out by KI security personnel.

Roles and Responsibilities
The IM/Document Controller primarily plays the Verification and validation role by ensuring the adequacy and completeness of documentation required for the safe work execution on site. The IM also manages the sorting, retrieval and tracking of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams, projects, or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. Documentation may be of a confidential or sensitive nature and needs to be stored in line with SCiN’s guidelines in a secure, reliable, and organized manner. The candidate should demonstrate a basic awareness and understanding of the role at a minimum level.
The Responsibilities of the IM/Document Controller are listed below:
- Manage and track the flow and storage of documents within the system.
- Ensure all facility documents are approved and up to date and ensure timely review of expired or outdated documents.
- Maintain an up-to-date access control register.
- Maintain an up-to-date loan register and ensure loaned records/materials are returned to the Document control centre.
- Ensure the implementation of document management policies, standards, procedures, and initiatives in the department.
- Safeguard the physical integrity of information/records and ensure application of information security during operations.
- Ensure effective project-to-asset handover of documents post-project commissioning. Also ensure traceable distribution, filing and archiving of documents from Contractors and vendors.
- Check to ensure isolation, associated boundaries, hazard control measures, valid documents etc. are maintained during work execution.
- Ensure compliance with the IM manual and guidelines in line with the AMS process
- Manage audits and assessments to drive the effectiveness of the IM system and perform periodic audits on the critical documentation in the facility.
