    Role Summary

    Primary Responsibilities

    Requirements

You will coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time and provide efficient and responsive support within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure the CTO is a step ahead of the technology needs of the business, knowledge development and sharing that impact the organisation's strategic focus and impact.
    • Draw up insights around system, human and technical requirements for core banking, blockchain, AI program for competitive edge
    • Drive data driven corporate-wide technology exploitation, improvement, gap closure and adoption, liaising with heads and team leads

    Technical Associate to the CEO

    As Investment Associate role holder, you will be responsible for defining all relevant investor & investment relations information related to mergers and acquisition, and capital raising. You will be required to liaise with internal stakeholders to facilitate internal reporting requirements and investor requests. Also, this role will spearhead the functions directly related to the CEO’s office.

    Responsibilities

    Investment Relations

    • Assist in the identification and sourcing of potential acquisition targets and investments
    • Conduct market research and financial analysis to evaluate the strategic and financial fit of potential targets
    • Support the due diligence process, including gathering and analysing financial, legal, and operational information.
    • Prepare and present investment recommendations to the company’s leadership team.

    • Initiate calls and physical meetings with investors to explain investment opportunities

    • Manage certain levels of investor communication such as transaction announcements (new deals, add-ons, exits);
    • Work with the Founders and external consultants to optimise and maintain the Vendease brand.

    Other Responsibilities

    • Draw up insights on the effectiveness of the marketing and communication strategies as it relates to the organisation’s strategy.
    • Collaborate with the relevant marketing and Communications team to ensure effective implementation of strategies for business growth.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the identified market insights provided are relevant to the business expansion requirements.
    • Explore opportunities and strategic partnerships that increases brand positioning
    • Drive successful implementation of the CEO’s projects
    • Monitor work efforts of the CEO’s direct reports, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
    • Oversee the tactical execution of the CEO’s projects handled by the EA/Project Assistant and the Marketing & Communications team.
    • Develop and manage the Corporate Development department’s annual budget 

    Requirements

    Knowledge & Skills:

    • Previous track record of working on successful mergers and acquisitions or capital raising
    • Excellent  analytical and problem-solving skills and experience in financial analysis and modelling
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret data to derive business insights
    • Good knowledge of the local and international financial markets

    Experience & Education:

    Executive Assistant

    As an Executive Assistant at Vendease, you will be responsible for performing specialised functions to ensure a high level of productivity for the Executive. You will provide efficient and responsive support to the Executive.

    Responsibilities

    Executive Support and Liaison

    • Coordinate high level meetings, prepare meeting notes and other notes as required; create streamlined communication between the Executive and other parties
    • Develop and manage communication protocols for both internal and external stakeholders
    • Respond to the Executive and third parties’ requests for information, provide full assistance to the Executive during absences to ensure a high level of service is maintained
    • Organise and prioritise the Executive’s to dos, plan, organise and provide assistance that is in line with the Executive’s workload, work habits and preferences
    • Effectively track and manage the Executive’s project and ensure all projects are executed according to agreed timeline
    • Serves as the Executive’s administrative liaison to the Senior Management team and high level external  stakeholders

    Job Summary

    You will develop, implement, and maintain all of the procedures and protocols in regard to proper inventory control for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information.
