    Technical Writer

    Job Summary

    • To be considered for this role, the candidate must have expertise as a technical writer in a software company.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain user manuals, installation guides, and other technical documentation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze information.
    • Create and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
    • Organize and manage documentation projects to ensure timely delivery.
    • Review and revise existing documentation to improve clarity and usability.
    • Create visual aids such as diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts to enhance understanding.
    • Stay updated on product changes and industry trends to ensure documentation is current.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
    • Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word).
    • Familiarity with content management systems and HTML is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Preferred Skills:

    Executive Assistant

    Responsibilities
    Scheduling and Time Management:

    • Planning meetings, conferences, and Office events.
    • Sending reminders for important dates and tasks.
    • Managing calendar and organizing meetings and appointments

    Communication:

    • Handling phone calls, emails, and other forms of correspondence.
    • Drafting, editing, and proofreading official documents.
    • Filtering and prioritizing messages.

    Travel Coordination:

    • A knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software if required.
    • Tact and diplomacy.
    • Flexibility and adaptability.
    • Candidate must reside in Lagos; proximity to Maryland is an advantage.
    • Candidate must not be older than 28 years as at last birthday.
    • Candidate must have minimum of 2 years’ experience in Executive Assistant /LAW related role.
    • Listening ability and patience.
