    Supply Chain and Excellence Manager

    The Supply Chain & Excellence Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain planning and driving continuous improvement initiatives across  operations. This role ensures efficient material flow, demand and supply alignment, and inventory optimization while championing operational excellence and supply chain efficiency programs. The manager will play a critical role in improving service levels, reducing costs, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Supply Chain Planning

    • Lead and manage the coordination of IKEJA to the supply chain planning function, including demand forecasting, supply planning, production scheduling, and inventory management.
    • Develop and implement robust planning processes to align supply capabilities with business demand.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales to ensure seamless material and product flow.
    • Monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, OTIF (On Time In Full), and inventory turns, implementing corrective actions where required.

    Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

    • Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies across Ikeja operations.
    • Identify, prioritize, and lead efficiency-driven initiatives that reduce waste, improve productivity, and optimize cost-to-serve.
    • Develop and implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and process improvements in line with global benchmarks.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, driving engagement and capability-building across teams.

    Supply Chain Efficiency & Performance Management

    • Track, analyse, and report supply chain performance, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
    • Lead projects aimed at improving supply reliability, lead times, and service quality while reducing operational costs.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all supply chain processes.
    • Partner with digital/IT teams to leverage data, analytics, and digital tools to drive efficiency and visibility.


    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or related functions, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven expertise in supply chain planning, demand/supply balancing, and process improvement.
    • Strong track record in leading Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence initiatives (certifications a plus).
    • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.

    • Strategic thinker with strong execution focus.
    • Change agent, capable of challenging the status quo and driving transformation.
    • Data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement mindset.

    Quality Assurance Team Lead

    To support the QA Manager in ensuring that all products manufactured in the plant meet SBC’s quality and food safety standards through effective supervision of QA processes, monitoring of production lines, laboratory analysis, and implementation of quality systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise quality checks on production lines to ensure products meet set specifications.
    • Oversee laboratory analysis of raw materials, syrup, and finished products.
    • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other food safety standards.
    • Monitor and document all quality activities and maintain accurate records.
    • Lead and train QA Inspectors and Technicians during production shifts.
    • Participate in investigations and root cause analysis of quality issues or customer complaints.
    • Support audits, mock recalls, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
    • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and other teams to resolve process deviations.
    • Ensure laboratory and QA operations comply with safety and hygiene standards.

    Requirements

    • Education: B.Sc./HND in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
    • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in FMCG or beverage manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of beverage production processes and quality parameters (Brix, CO₂, Fill Height, Torque, etc.)
    • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001/22000, and Food Safety Systems.
    • Proficiency in laboratory testing and data interpretation.
    • Experience with root cause analysis and process control.

    Core Competencies:

    • Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
    • Leadership and team coordination skills.
    • Good communication and reporting ability.
    • Computer literacy (MS Office and QA data tools).

    Added Advantage: HACCP, ISO Lead Auditor, or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

    Quality Assurance Manager

    We are currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager who will be accountable for ensuring that the plant follows and adheres to quality protocols and produces the highest quality product.
    He/She will be responsible for communicating quality procedures and developing long term sustainable practices to maintain superior quality process.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure that the region adheres to standards set by PCI and regulatory policies on good manufacturing process.
    • Liaise with PCI and government officials in relation to product quality, process, packaging and consumer contacts.
    • Advice on how to comply with new government regulations on quality/ manufacturing activities and compliance with same.
    • Conduct regular surveys to improve product quality and reduce wastages.
    • Maintain region database for plant and product performance.
    • Provide management with timely and accurate report on quality performance at the regions and in the trade.
    • Prepare strategic program to achieve sustainable product quality by the regions.
    • Responsible for the success of all quality assurance audits; e.g AIB, QAS,GFIS etc.
    • Manage the quality control efforts to ensure products are in conformity with company quality standards.
    • Identify and lead efforts on product/process quality and cost management opportunities to achieve productivity gains.
    • Lead risk assessment analysis. Manage issues with non-conforming product to assure proper control, minimize loses, and provide analysis to drive the elimination of future occurrences.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Food Science and Technology
    • At least 5 years working experience in CSD industry with 2 years at management level of a quality control/assurance function in a food and beverage company
    • Knowledge of bottling operations
    • Experienced in budgeting and people management
    • Knowledge of bottling operations: Planning,
    • Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health and Safety
    • Operational planning expertise/experience
    • Good understanding and experience of current WC manufacturing methodologies.
    • Good understanding of HQSE modalities and codes.
    • Good understanding of GMP and GHK (5S) standards.
