    Mechanical Technician – Supervisor (B-A) - PMT

    Why does the job exist?

    To coordinate Process Maintenance Team in efficient manner that will attend to machine breakdowns promptly, reduce downtime and ensure maximum equipment availability for high quality products

    • To ensure PPM Maintenance and Overhauling activities are carried out according to schedules.

    Shift Packaging Operator - ACMA Machine (C-B)

    Why does the job exist?

    The Packaging Operator is responsible for running and maintaining packaging department equipment (labellers, conveyors, casers, stackers, coders and other related packaging equipment) safely and efficiently to realise the site and business objectives.

    Machine Operator

    Key Activities:

    • Responsible for ensuring that bleached oil required for saponification are made available on time and in full.
    • He is responsible for ensuring the required quantity of bleaching earth and phosphoric acid are added at the right time and quantity to ensure oil is bleached to the required quality standard.
    • Responsible for transferring bleached and filtered oil from intermediate Tank 6A or B to the appropriate tank at pan room tank farm.

    • Advising immediate boss on up-to-date developments in one's areas of responsibilities.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    • To ensure minimum disruption to production.
    • To ensure correct handover procedure resulting in exact control.
    • Gainful employment of subordinates.
    • Organised housekeeping.
    • Correctly reporting state of affairs of Electronics machines
    • No failure to carry out such assignment.
    • All subordinate staff is trained on the job to possess adequate knowledge, skill and attitude for effectiveness on their present and other related jobs in their sections.
    • All subordinates understand the importance of safe working conditions, able to effectively use firefighting and first-aid equipment when necessary.
    • No serious breach of discipline of industrial unrest through failure to implement group personnel policies.
    • All subordinates have agreed job descriptions upon which their levels of performance are accessed in accordance with group procedures.
    • No obvious failure due to defective liaison.
    • No failure to advise management about changes or developments as they occur.

    Internal & External Relationships:

    • Engineering Manager,
    • Maintenance Mgr., Technician,
    • Production Workers & Contract staff
    • Engr Spare Store
    • Etc.

    Required Qualifications:

    • OND/HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
    • Software Knowledge

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar position
    • Ability to withstand stress and work under pressure
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to withstand stress and work under pressure
