    IT Manager

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Help Desk Support: Provide frontline assistance and technical support to end-users, addressing issues through various channels, such as phone, email, or chat.
    • Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose hardware and software issues, as well as network and connectivity problems, and offer timely solutions.
    • Installation and Configuration: Install and configure computer systems, software applications, and hardware components, ensuring they work correctly.
    • User Account Management: Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and permissions, managing access to systems and resources.
    • Software Updates and Patch Management: Ensure that software and applications are up to date with the latest patches and security updates.
    • Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware, including cleaning, upgrading, and repairing components.
    • Network Support: assist with network setup, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and maintaining network infrastructure.
    • Data Backup and Recovery: Manage data backups, schedule regular backups, and support data recovery efforts in case of data loss.
    • Security Measures: Implement security protocols, enforce company security policies, and respond to security incidents.
    • Remote Support: Provide technical assistance to remote or off-site users, resolving issues without being physically present.
    • Documentation: Maintain records, documentation, and knowledge base articles to facilitate issue resolution and knowledge sharing.
    • User Training: Offer training and guidanceto users on software applications and best practices to enhance their technical skills.
    • IT Policy Enforcement: Enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain security, compliance, and efficient IT operations.
    • Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor systems, network performance, and resource utilization and generate reports for analysis.
    • Project Support: assist in IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, by providing technical support.
    • Mobile Device Management: Manage and secure mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, used by employees.
    • Inventory Management: Keep track of IT assets and maintain an updated inventory of hardware and software resources.
    • Disaster Recovery Planning: Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planningto ensure data and systems are recoverable in emergencies.
    • Compliance and Regulations: Stay informed about relevant IT laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's IT practices meet legal requirements.
    • Escalating IT issues to the IT Support Heads where necessary.
    • Undertaking small- to medium-sized IT projects as instructed.
    • Providing desktop and server support. Supporting and maintaining Company Software’s Other task assigned by your line manager.

    Kitchen Assistant

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward/Kitchen Assistant to assist with the smooth operation of our kitchen.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation in the kitchen, as well as supporting the kitchen staff with basic food preparation and other duties.
    • This role is vital to ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently and adheres to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring that all areas, including floors, work surfaces, and equipment, are sanitised and clean at all times.
    • Wash, dry, and properly store kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dishes used by the kitchen and service teams.
    • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, dispose of kitchen waste properly, including the separation of recyclables and food waste, and ensure garbage bins are emptied and cleaned regularly.
    • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and preparing ingredients as required.
    • Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and rotated following the “first in, first out” method.
    • Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs for kitchen equipment and ensure that they are promptly addressed.
    • Help with setting up and breaking down kitchen stations, ensuring all items are in place and ready for service.
    • Support the kitchen team during busy periods by ensuring supplies are replenished and kitchen stations are stocked.
    • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations, including wearing appropriate kitchen attire and handling food safely.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
    • Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward, Kitchen Assistant, or Dishwasher in a hospitality or food service environment is an advantage but not required.
    • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures is preferred.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
    • A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

    Working Conditions:

    • This role involves working in a hot, busy kitchen environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals, heat, and noise.
    • Physical stamina is required as the job may involve lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
