    Business Banking Lead

    Description

    • We are looking for a strategic leader and owner to take the helm of this new venture.
    • This is not just a product or sales role.
    • You will be the driving force behind our Business Banking product, responsible for its go-to-market strategy, commercial success, and market penetration.
    • You will own the P&L and build the future of business banking from the ground up.

    The Role: Your Mission

    • As the owner of this business line, you will bridge the gap between our technology-driven platform and the needs of the business community. You will be responsible for the end-to-end strategy and execution required to drive adoption.
    • Strategy & Vision: Define the product roadmap. Identify market gaps and set the strategic direction to ensure we capture significant market share, ensuring our offerings remain as innovative and fee-transparent as our consumer app.
    • Sales & Growth: Own the revenue targets. Develop and execute a scalable sales strategy to acquire new business customers and drive product adoption.
    • Partnership Development (Critical): Leverage your network to identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with banks, fintech enablers, payment processors, and other key players to expand our reach and enhance our value proposition.
    • Go-to-Market Execution: Lead the launch of new features and campaigns. Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and compliance teams to ensure we are telling a compelling story to the right audience, highlighting benefits like zero fees and quick payments.
    • Customer Insight: Be the voice of the business customer internally. Use data and feedback to continuously refine the product and the sales approach.

    Legal Manager

    Overview

    • We’re looking for an experienced Legal Managerwith top-tier law firm training and strong fintech or financial services exposure.
    • This role will lead legal strategy, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance across all areas of the digital bank.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage legal operations across regulatory compliance, contracts, data protection, lending, and employment
    • Oversee engagement with external counsel and regulatory bodies (CBN, NDIC, etc.)
    • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and product terms
    • Advise on legal risk across all departments, particularly in growth and product.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree 
    • 8+ years of legal experience, including at a top 4 Nigerian law firm and preferably in-house within fintech or banking
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial regulation
    • Clear communicator and business-minded legal advisor.
