    Medical/Sales Representative

    Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

    Job Summary

    The Medical/Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s pharmaceutical products to hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, healthcare professionals, distributors, and other customers within the assigned territory. The role involves achieving sales targets, maintaining strong customer relationships, increasing product awareness, and ensuring market penetration in line with company objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Promote and detail the company’s pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives within the designated territory.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.
    • Conduct regular visits to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and distributors to generate orders and ensure product availability.
    • Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, and market trends and provide feedback to Management.
    • Organize product presentations, medical outreaches, and promotional activities.
    • Ensure proper merchandising and visibility of company products in the market.
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
    • Follow up on customer payments and support debt recovery efforts where necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
    • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and marketing campaigns organized by the company.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Biochemistry, or related Sciences.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Medical/Sales Representative in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
    • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, sales techniques, and territory management.
    • Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Candidate must be result-oriented, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
