PURPOSE

To Carry out electrical maintenance activities in the plant with a view to keeping the plant running at optimum capacity.

THE JOB

• Repair any fault or damage components of the machines such as production, packaging, warehouse, raw material silo, Boiler, WTP.
• Carry out all kinds of maintenance strictly with the use of checklist/Machine drawing.
• Monitor logbook to check job repairs done as well as pending jobs, to follow up and ensure prompt resolution.
• Carry out any job allocated to ensure quick response to maintenance request from user department.
• Carryout Why-Why analysis on repeated problems and troubleshoot problems to aid effective maintenance.
• Prepare report on work done for reference purpose, fill all the job order correctly, and return them to SAM.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial machinery.
• Have ability to read and interpret machine drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Have excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for identifying and resolving faults.

QUALIFICATIONS

•  5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical certifications.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.

PURPOSE

To coordinates maintenance activities in the plant with a view to keeping the plant running at optimum capacity.

THE JOB

• Monitor logbook to check job repairs done as well as pending jobs, to follow up and ensure prompt resolution.
• Allocate jobs to maintenance team to ensure quick response to maintenance request from user department.
• Carry out planned preventive measures within the scheduled time.
• Prepare report on work done for reference purpose.
• Observe and comply with all occupational Health and Safety procedures and meet statutory electrical codes.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical installation, wiring, components, and industrial panels equipment and machinery deployed for milling and packaging in Flour Operations, to the correct specifications and standards.
• Carry out machine inspection tasks and update all necessary reports.
• Attend to all reported faults promptly to find solutions to reduce production downtime.
• Carry out housekeeping functions to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and controls.
• Have excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Have good report writing skills and ability to maintain accurate maintenance records.

QUALIFICATIONS

• OND in engineering or any science related discipline.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
