    Fitter - Mechanical Supervisor

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    To maintain the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of blending and packing machines by effectively supervising mechanical maintenance activities. This role demands strong expertise in pneumatics and conveyor systems to reduce downtime and achieve operational objectives. 

    THE JOB 

    • Supervise and execute the maintenance, repair, and servicing of blending and packing machines. 
    • Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to pneumatics, conveyors, and other critical systems. 
    • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. 
    • Lead a team of fitters to ensure timely and quality maintenance activities. 
    • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history. 
    • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards in all maintenance tasks. 
    • Identify and procure necessary spare parts and tools for effective maintenance operations. 

    THE PERSON MUST 

    • Have good written and verbal communication skills 
    • Efficient planning and execution of maintenance schedules. 
    • Have the willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and protocols. 
    • Ability to supervise and motivate a team of maintenance personnel. 

    QUALIFICATION 

    • 5 O’ level/NABTEB credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings. 
    • OND. in Mechanical Engineering. 

    EXPERIENCE 

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

    Electrician

    Act as the primary point of support during electrical downtime, ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of all electrical systems and equipment. Promptly address breakdowns and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support seamless operations at the Bauchi Golden Fertilizer Blending Plant. 

    THE JOB 

    • Perform regular inspections and diagnostics to proactively identify potential issues before they result in downtime. 
    • Coordinate and execute corrective maintenance tasks to promptly address equipment breakdowns. 
    • Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and equipment. 
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in wheel loaders, forklifts, excavators, and blending/packing machines. 
    • Collaborate with production and operations teams to align maintenance schedules with plant activities. 
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, work orders, and equipment history. 
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and equipment performance. 

    THE PERSON MUST 

    • Ability to analyze equipment performance data and recommend improvement measures. 
    • Proactive approach to addressing challenges and improving processes. 
    • Efficient written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Ability to develop and manage detailed schedules and resource plans. 

    QUALIFICATION

    To optimize Golden Fertilizer blending plant machinery performance, reliability, and efficiency by designing and implementing comprehensive maintenance management programs, minimizing downtime, and ensuring maximum plant capacity utilization. 

    THE JOB 

    • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of pneumatic systems and conveyor systems. 
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner. 
    • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including equipment history, work orders, and compliance records. 
    • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components while controlling costs. 
    • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment. 
    • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant efficiency. 
    • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory. 

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Strong knowledge of maintenance management processes, corrosion prevention techniques, pneumatics, and conveyor systems. 
    • Analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

    Heavy Equipment Clerk

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    To maintain the reliability, efficiency, and performance of wheel loaders, forklifts, and excavators through proactive maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution. 

    THE JOB 

    • Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for heavy-duty equipment. 
    • Inspect equipment regularly to identify issues and implement corrective measures. 
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and contractor performance. 
    • Coordinate with the outsourced sister company to ensure timely and quality execution of maintenance tasks. 
    • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during all maintenance activities. 
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align maintenance schedules with production needs. 
    • Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement as needed. 
    • Provide reports on equipment reliability, maintenance costs, and contractor efficiency.

    Blending Officer

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    To oversee high-quality fertilizer blending process, and operations with the precise ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and micronutrients. Providing effective solutions to farmers and maintaining consistency across the company standards, in alignment with established objectives. 

    THE JOB 

    • Monitor blending processes to maintain the correct formulation and quality of fertilizer products that meet farmers. 
    • Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specified standards for increased yields. 
    • Investigate and resolve any quality issues that arise during the blending process. 
    • Implement process improvement method to enhance production output. 
    • Coordinate with the Dispatch/Supply Chain department to ensure timely availability of raw materials. 
    • Monitor raw material, finished goods and packaging material inventories. 
    • Lead and supervise a team of blending operators, providing guidance and support. 
    • Prepare and maintain production reports. 
    • Collaborate with other departments, including Dispatch & Logistics, Commercial, Finance, and outstation plants, to ensure seamless production operations. 

    THE PERSON MUST 

    • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

    Procurement Officer Premium Cassava Products Ltd

    PURPOSE

    The Procurement Officer manages and directs the purchasing of all the goods and services the company needs. Also responsible for identifying potential supplier sources, conducting interviews with potential vendors, negotiating favorable supplier agreements and managing supplier and vendor contracts.
