• Reviewing client requirements and designing in line with to meet requirements bearing efficiency and best practices in mind.
• Taking site measurements and or designing electrical component requirements in line with approved structures.
• Estimating and planning power requirements on projects
• Developing list of material requirements per design
• Reviewing and recommending materials based on research and or experience

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Membership or NSE or COREN will be an added advantage.

Job Description

• This candidate is responsible for cascading the business strategy and annual goals downwards to team leads. This role is also responsible for the day to day running of the business.
• Lead and guide other team leads through business strategy and organisational profitability
• Annual business planning (strategy and financial)
• Leading, guiding innovation and business development
• Lead on all regulatory and statutory compliance
• Leading culture organisation wide
• Ensure maintenance of monthly financial records
• Review all projects and ensure profitability
• Ensure adherence to the maintenance of service standards organisation wide

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA is necessary

Job Description

• Distil departmental goals from corporate goals and cascade into team functions
• Review and or develop effective operational procedures in line with organisational vision and ethos
• Plan, organize and direct Electrical Engineering activities including the design, modification, construction and project management of electrical engineering projects
• Direct, participate in and coordinate activities in the development of work plans and projects; monitor workflow, evaluate project status and ensure adherence to SOP
• Work in partnership with Commercial department to review bids and prepare project budgets
• Ensure projects are completed within timelines and cost constraints
• Document project phasing to monitor adherence to set standards, identify areas of development and monitor variation with a view to improve procedures and processes
• Maintain safety standards on projects
• Review and approve the preparation of drawings, reports, specifications, cost estimates and material evaluations to support operations.

Qualification

• First degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical_Electronics Engineering or its equivalent
• Certified COREN will be an advantage
• 5 – 8 years post NYSC field experience
• Experience with electrical system designs, installations, transmission and distribution is required.
