To provide professional and strategic consultative services to Line Management in the delivery of HR value propositions in alignment with business and people strategy. Also to ensure necessary operational support for regional team operations
Responsibilities
Effective Business Partnering
- Liaise with respective function head in the alignment of general HR strategy with functional strategy.
- Consult with function Head in promoting best fit HR value proposition
- Provide support and representation for HR Subject Matter Experts in the functional units
- Effective Headcount Management and Talent Management
- Ensure efficient and effective headcount manpower planning in line with functional strategic plan
- Champion the identification and deployment of talent in function of primary assignment
- Facilitate the Performance Management process within function of primary assignment
- Liaise with Line and Talent Development and Engagement in building people capacity and performance
Continuously improved employee engagement
- Facilitate best fit Organizational Development interventions in area of Functional assignment (Skip Level Meetings, Town Hall Meetings, Spot Bonus awards and other R & R initiatives)
- Implement Culture Change processes
- Act as employee champion in respective functional area/region
- Facilitate Employee Engagement cascade and development of action plans
- Monitor implementation of Engagement Action Plan
- Champion implementation of HR initiatives in the functional units.
Employee Relations
- Provide apt advice and counsel to Line on talent management, performance management, conflict resolution and other areas of employee relations.
- Facilitate and guide various stakeholders on corrective actions, grievances, conflicts and disciplinary procedures
- Ensure business synchronization across departments within function of primary assignment (e.g. Village Meetings)
- Ensure resolution of all staff welfare issues within agreed timelines
HR Information Management
- Design of functional structure in Line with Headcount Management and Organizational Structure policy.
- Conduct trends and report analysis on various HR indices.
- Provide employee information as required by HR support functions, internal and external audit.
- Ensure accuracy and management of employee records
- Provide accurate Payroll inputs (Relocation Allowance, Promotion details, Overtime etc.)

Educational Qualifications
- 1st degree in Human Resources/Behavioral Sciences/ Accounting/ Engineering
- A professional qualification of CIPMN, CIPD, SHRM is desirable
Relevant Experience & Functional / Technical Skills
- At least 8-10 years Human Resources experience in a multinational business environment in a HR Generalist role
- Experience working with organizational leaders to define and execute HR strategies linked to organizational goals
- Solid problem-solving and business acumen skills
- Proven organizational development, performance management and employee relations skills
- Must demonstrate interpersonal savvy with the ability to maneuver through complex situations effectively while building constructive relationships

- MPBN Engineer (Operations) will be responsible for maintenance, operation, and configuration of networking devices like routers, switches, firewalls etc. in a multi-vendor environment.
- He or she will be responsible for the day-to-day management and upkeep of these networking devices, ensuring they are functioning correctly and meeting performance requirements
Responsibilities
Network Resilience and Assurance
- Responsible for resiliency testing, availability and overall IP Core network assurance across Airtel POPs
- Work together with Planning teams to draw out considerable best and workable solutions for any integration of services to MPLS network
- Access control Management to all Airtel MPBN nodes
Configuration Audit
• Configuration audit of all planned activities in the IP Core/transport domain to ensure first time right implementations
• Oversee network activities across Mobile Service VPNs
• Support New integrations in PS, CS and Charging networks
• Proper scrutiny of all new additions and update of existing records for every change in Transport Layer Architecture
MPBN Documentation and Reporting
- Primarily responsible for All MPBN implementation's Documentation - Designs, Audits, Network Architecture etc;
- Run monthly checks on critical implementation documents and updates when due
Quality of Service(QoS) Assurance
- Ensure that different types of traffic receive appropriate levels of service and prioritization.
- Be the linkage between Airtel Planning team and the MS team in QoS implementation.
Enterprise Services Support
- Responsible for Enterprise MPLS tunnel and internet edge implementations
- Work hand-in-hand with enterprise Planning, MPBN Planning and the MS team to draw out considerable best and workable solutions for integration of services to MPLS network
Project Implementation
- Supports Project implementation within primary domain and ensure they are delivered to set timelines
Change Management
- Compiles and delivers all weekly change requests for MPBN Operations in conjuction with the MS team
- Ensures MS team full compliance on all activities implemented within the MPBN domain to change management process
Internet Edge Implementation/Support
- Engages stakeholder teams for implementation of design/optimization for traffic distribution.
- Primarily responsible for supporting Internet edge related projects from Operations perspective
- Manages operational issues on Caches & NNI
Network Security
- Management and support on all operational activities for of Firewall bordering the Core Network.
- Primarily responsible for engagements of service providers on resolution of issues relating to DDoS, IPDR and Anti-Spam solutions
- Drives Network cleanups from VA Scan advised by Security team with MS
- Primarily responsible for Operational Activities of all Firewalls
- Anchors engagements of Vendors on resolution of issues relating to DDoS, IPDR and Anti-Spam solutions
Firewall Management
Primarily responsible for the operational activities of the Firewalls
