    Mechanical Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee and manage all maintenance and repair activities associated with crusher plant equipment.
    • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on crushers,e.g., jaw crushers, cone crushers, hammer crushers, roll crushers, impact crushers,grinding mills, rotary kilns, roller mills, etc., and other related equipment.
    • Ensure completion of mechanical maintenance jobs with the highest level of quality and safety.
    • Embrace preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and contribute to their improvement.
    • Attending day-to-day problems and preventive maintenance jobs.

    Qualification and Skills

    • Candidates should Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution.
    • 5-10 years previous experience in mechanicalmaintenance within mining processing plant or cement industry.
    • Proven experience in crushers, conveyors, pumps, gravity,grinding mills, rotary kilns, roller mills, hydraulic pumps,and magnetic separation.
    • Strong focus on health and safety standards and compliance.

    Process Engineer / CCR Operator

    Job Description

    • The Process Engineer/CCR Operator will be responsible for monitoring and controlling various sections of the production line from the Central Control Room (CCR).This role requires precision and adherence to standards in theproduction process.
    • The Process Engineer/CCR Operator will provide relevant information and direction to patrollers and operators in the production line based on monitored operations, ensuring employee safety and compliance with prescribed standards and environmental regulations.

    Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Monitor and control all sections of the plant process lines from the CCR.
    • Provide constant feedback and guidance to shift coordinators, engineers, patrollers, and operators.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot potential operating problems.
    • Review plant automation systems and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Prepare detailed reports on work undertaken.
    • Supervisestaff to ensure smooth operation and cleanliness of conveyor belts.
    • Achieve production targets during respective shifts.

    Requirements

    • BSc in Chemical Processing Engineering or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5-10 years of working experience in a similar role as a CCR Operator.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of the iron ore production process.
    • Good knowledge of product quality parameters and quality control.
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
    • Strong supervisory skills and attention to detail.

    Technical Operator

    Job Duties

    • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of plant machines.
    • Operate / monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
    • Conduct changeovers, basic repairs, and adjustments in plant machines.
    • Conduct fault finding and basic repairs for electrical and mechanical equipment.
    • Identify, prioritize and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Continually seek to identify opportunities for cost saving and more effective ways of carrying out production activities.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess an OND in Mechanical or Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
    • Must have 2-3 years of workexperience as a technical operator.
    • Basic knowledge of autonomous maintenance and preventive maintenance.
    • Troubleshooting skills.
    • Machine operations and maintenance.

    Other Requirements:

    • Knowledge of high-speed production machine, maintenance and operation.
    • Ability to demonstrate basic Technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Sound understanding of mining and steel production processes.
    • Computer literacy.

    Conveyor Maintenance Technician

    Responsibilities

    • Replacing roller and replacing conveyor belt pulleys.
    • Fixing conveyor belt scrappers and belt cleaners.
    • Replacing roller and replacing conveyor belt pulleys.
    • Respond to breakdowns and emergency calls quickly to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
    • Perform regular inspections of conveyor systems to identify potential faults and perform preventive and routine maintenance.
    • Troubleshoot and repair conveyor components, including motors, gears, switches, and other electrical or mechanical parts.
    • Installbelts in machinery, tighten bolts, and adjust tension rolls.
    • Monitor conveyor operations closely, rectifying any issues promptly to ensure smooth workflow.
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to cut back on incidents and accidents.
    • Document maintenance activities and safety precautions on all equipment worked on.
    • Coordinate with other team members to solve complex mechanical or technical issues associated with the conveyor systems.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • 3-5 years of proven experience in conveyor maintenance or a similar role.
    • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, especially related to conveyor systems.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
    • Attention to detail and prioritization skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams.
    • Knowledge of standard safety procedures and regulations.
