Group Head of Projects at Workforce Group

Description

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Head of Projects to lead end-to-end execution of multiple high-value construction projects across our organisation.
• In this role, you will be responsible for driving project origination, design interpretation, planning, and delivery across a portfolio of projects while leading a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, and other professionals.
• You will provide strategic oversight, ensure quality and compliance, manage stakeholders, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all group-wide construction projects from concept to completion
• Provide technical, creative, and strategic direction to project teams
• Ensure strict compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and resources
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Review designs, contracts, and construction methodologies
• Drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement in project delivery
• Report progress and provide updates to executive management

Requirements

• First Degree in Architecture or related field (Master’s is an advantage)
• ARCON certification required
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage
• Minimum of 7 years post-NYSC relevant experience in construction/project management
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and project execution
• Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver complex projects successfully.
