    Internal Audit Officer, Renewed Women's Voices and Leadership (RWVL) Project

    Job Description

    • The post holder will assist the Internal Auditor to ensure the system of internal control is adequate to achieve management objectives in an efficient and effective manner; that established procedures are being properly followed, assets are safeguarded and that resources are judiciously utilized, Management information is sound and adequate, risk management and analysis framework including those of partners are developed and enhanced.

    Education / Qualifications / Experience

    • First Degree in Accounting is essential.
    • Membership of accounting professional bodies is desirable.
    • At least three (3) years post NYSC experience in Auditing is essential.
    • Cognate reporting experience is essential.
    • Ability to use SUN accounting system is desirable.
    • Experience in working with international development of NGO agencies is desirable.

    Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Renewed Women's Voices and Leadership (RWVL) Project

    Job Description

    • The post holder will provide technical support and guidance in meeting the monitoring and evaluation requirements of the RWVL Project.
    • S/he will support the development of strategy and expertise on the results framework, key milestones, and monitoring & evaluation plan for the project as well as support the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning activities for the field offices. 

    Education / Qualifications / Experience

    • First Degree in Social Sciences or Arts / Humanities is essential.
    • Membership of relevant professional bodies is desirable.
    • At least three (3) years post NYSC Monitoring & Evaluation experience, two (2) of which should in the development sector is essential.
    • Experience in monitoring and evaluation of project or related programme is essential
    • Ability to use the District Health Information System (DHIS)/or any other database software is essential.
    • Demonstrate relevant technical skills in analysing quantitative and qualitative data is essential.
    • Ability to use various statistical software programmes such as Tableau, Power BI, SPSS, Epi Info, Atlas, NVivo is essential. 
    • Extensive knowledge of reporting procedures, best practices, guidelines, and tools for monitoring, evaluation and learning, including impact evaluation is essential. 

    Skill / Abilities:

    • Statistics & Mathematics – Strong foundation in probability and statistical inference.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.,
    • Demonstrated supervisory skills and the ability to work well in a team
    • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
    • Strong organizational and report-writing skills.
    • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
    • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

    Logistics Support Personnel / Driver

    Job Summary

    • The post holder will use ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) vehicles to facilitate movement of staff and equipment and to maintain vehicles and equipment according to AAN policies and procedure.  
    • In addition, the person will be required to carry out routine maintenance on the vehicle and give informed assessment of the vehicle whenever required.

    Education / Qualifications / Experience

    • Secondary School Leaving Certificate with at least 4 credits is essential.

    Gender Advisor

    Job Summary

    • The post holder will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to integrate gender equality and feminist principles into the design, implementation, and evaluation of the RWVL Project. 
    • The role will focus on strengthening the capacity of women’s rights organizations (WROs), mainstreaming gender across program activities, and ensuring that gender-transformative approaches drive the project's impact.

    Education / Qualifications / Experience

    • First degree in Gender Studies, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field is essential.
    • Master’s degree in related field is desirable.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on gender equality, feminist programming, and women’s rights initiatives in development settings is essential.
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing gender-transformative programs and policies is essential.
    • Experience in feminist analysis is desirable.
    • Experience working with Women Rights Organisations (WROs), feminist movements, and grassroots organizations is desirable.

    Skill / Abilities:

    • Strong understanding of feminist approaches, intersectionality, and gender analysis frameworks.
    • Excellent facilitation and capacity-building skills, with experience training diverse audiences.
    • Demonstrated experience in policy advocacy and engagement with government and non-governmental stakeholders.
    • Strong research and analytical skills to produce high-quality reports, policy briefs, and case studies.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
    • Excellent report writing and analytical skills.

    Finance Officer

    Job Summary

    • The post holder will ensure maintenance of adequate financial integrity in supporting quality and timely data input for generation of financial reports, review and analyze accounting ledgers.
    • She / he will also contribute to strengthening the internal control and accounting systems of ActionAid Nigeria and partner organizations.

    Education / Qualifications / Experience

    • First degree in Finance/Accounting is essential.
    • Relevant accounting professional certification is desirable
    • At least three (3) years post NYSC experience in related finance position is essential.
    • Experience in implementing financial control systems is essential.
    • Development sector experience as a finance person is desirable.

    Skill / Abilities:

    • Sound practical knowledge of any accounting software and Spreadsheets.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Accuracy and attention to details
    • Ability to multitask.
