Job Description

• As a physiotherapist you would help patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury or ageing to improve their movement.

Responsibilities

• Assess injured patients and diagnosing of current health status and level of injury.
• Establish treatment plan and carry out treatment and rehabilitation using manual therapy techniques and active rehabilitation programs.
• Involvement in patient education and follow up communication with patients either by phone, email or in person.
• Provide a patient experience that is unlike any other clinic experience for our patients.
• Liaising with professionals such as doctors and nurses.
• Providing education and advice about exercise and movement.
• Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in the profession.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensed.
• Accurate charting and record keeping for all patients.
• Experience in Pully Therapy will be an advantage.
• Master  and/or Experience with in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine rehabilitation coverage will be an advantage.
• Resident in Lagos preferably Egbeda and its environs.

• The ability to build a rapport with patients from a variety of backgrounds and communicate with their relatives and care-giver.

• Ability to work in a team environment is a required skill.
• Excellence in patient service is an essential component of our approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients prior to surgery (e.g. NPO status) and alleviate their concerns.
• Gather all supplies needed for the operation.
• Assume responsibility of keeping the operating room sterilized.
• Position and prepare patient on operating table.
• Monitor patient’s vital signs to detect anomalies.
• Evaluate patient in postoperative phases.
• Adhere to safety standards and precautions.
• Cool tempered with emotional and physical stamina.

MIN QUALIFICATION

• Have a Bachelor degree in Nursing and a valid license.
• Resident in Lagos, preferably Egbeda and its environs.
