    Sales Manager - (B2B) Dairy at OFI (Olam Food Ingredients)

    Responsibilities

    • Market mapping of the B2B segment
    • Identifying key players and markets. Defining the addressable space for ofi in this segment
    • Set up a sales network to effectively address customer needs in the B2B segment
    • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
    • Negotiate and close agreements with big distributors.
    • Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts. Forecasting and analysis of business/market trends
    • Undertake research activities and liaise with product development team to identify new product opportunities
    • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferably in the FMCG Industry)
    • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in a managerial capacity.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and customer needs.
    • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
    • Proficiency in sales techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, and negotiation.
    • Experience in managing key accounts and building long-term client relationships.
    • Analytical skills to assess sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Strong business acumen and understanding of financials.
    • Adaptability to changing market conditions and willingness to learn new sales methodologies.

    Manager - Backward Integration Programme (Dairy)

    Responsibilities

    • Day-to-day operational management of the Milk Collection Centers (MCCs) and ensuring collection targets are met for each MCC.
    • Manage the cold chain distribution network.
    • Manage sales and customer relationships for raw milk collected.
    • Manage relationship with the local co-operative bodies and the farmers.
    • Liaisoning with various statutory bodies, regulators and government organizations involved in the value chain.
    • Design and implement various capacity building activities and sustainability programmers for the farmers.
    • Liaisoning with our media partners and effectively managing public relations.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science, Agriculture or a related discipline.
    • Strong understanding of the dairy industry, including knowledge of dairy farming practices, milk production processes, milk collection and transportation systems.
    • Familiarity with relevant regulations and quality standards.
    • Proficiency in supply chain management principles.
    • Strong project management skills, including resource allocation, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Knowledge of Hausa/Fulani language is essential.
