Responsibilities

• The Institute Secretary is responsible to the Director-General for the day-to-day administrative work of the Institute, as well as serving as the Secretary to the Governing Council of the Institute.

Requirements

• By direct appointment of a candidate with a minimum of a second-class degree in the Social Sciences or Humanities with at least Fifteen (15) years of post-qualification cognate experience. 
• Possession of a law degree is an added advantage.
• By direct appointment of a holder of a Master’s degree plus at least Thirteen (13) years of cognate experience.
• The Institute seeks a candidate with distinction, managerial ability, integrity, and transparency in both private and public life. The candidate should also have the ability to develop external linkages with wider communities and engender harmony within the Institute community at all times.
• He/she must exhibit adequate leadership traits and an impeccable record of service.
• Recognised professional membership such as CIPMN, NIM, CIS, CIA, etc., will be an added advantage.

Salary & Condition of Service
As applicable and obtainable in Nigerian public universities and as may be determined from time to time by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Tenure of Office

• The Three (3) Principal Officers will each serve a tenure of Five (5) years.
• Candidates seeking these offices should not be more than Fifty-Eight (58) years of age on assumption of office.

Responsibilities

• The Institute Librarian is responsible to the Director-General for the overall administration of the Library of the Institute, which serves as the research hub of the Institute.

Requirements

• By direct appointment of a Doctorate Degree holder in Library Science from a recognised university plus a minimum of Fifteen (15) years of cognate experience.
• The candidate must have a professional qualification in Library Science with recognised professional membership in the Librarian cadre, such as the Nigerian Library Association (NLA) and the Librarians' Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN).
• The candidate must have an acceptable number of academic publications, with a minimum of Twenty (20).
• Computer literacy is essential, and a degree in Law is an added advantage.
• The Librarian cadre is purely an academic outfit, and the candidate will handle this strategic office accordingly.

Responsibilities

• The Institute Bursar is the Financial Officer of the Institute and is responsible to the Director-General for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the Institute.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a good honours degree, not below second class lower division, in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from a recognised university and must hold professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACA, ANAN, CPA, ACMA, or ACCA.
• Should possess post-qualification cognate experience and be very conversant with accounting software.
• Candidate must be ICT-compliant and should command respect while being able to carry colleagues along. The possession of higher degree(s) is/are added advantage.
