    Procurement Officer

    Job summary

    The Procurement Officer shall manage our organisational procurement process and supply chain activities. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. This role requires strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

    Job responsibilities:

    Programming

    • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery
    • Prepare purchase orders and negotiate contracts.
    • Ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints and company policies.
    • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
    • Collaborate with admin staff to ensure adequate inventory control.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing, and supplier options.
    • Evaluate market conditions to ensure competitive purchasing.

    Program administration

    • Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
    • Monitor spending and ensure procurement efficiency.
    • Work with various departments to understand their supply needs.
    • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and suppliers.
    • Assess and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
    • Develop contingency plans for critical procurement issues.

    Education and experience:

    •  Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
    • Experience working with procurement software and systems.

    Personnel skills:

    • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    Project Coordinator

    Roles and Key responsibilities

    • In Collaboration with LETSAI Staff Field Team and Other Stakeholders of CBID/ DID Specialists, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for the following;

    Support in Program Design, Development and Implementation:

    • Leads the preparation of ongoing situation reports, periodic updates and analyses, by compiling and analyzing data, and related information with a specific focus on CBID/DID and prepare written inputs accordingly to inform effective program planning, development and management.
    • Undertakes field visits to project areas, to assess local conditions and monitor progress. Establishes contact with community groups and partners to keep abreast of emergency situation. Collect information, identify problems and constraints in order to ensure effective project delivery.
    • Establish effective leadership for the CBID/DID  sub-working groups, map existing activities and undertake protection gap analysis, support the elaboration of Standard Operation Procedures and standardized tools, promote data collection and management, build capacity of LETSAI staff.
    • To provide timely feedback on the ongoing activities and propose amendments as needed and way forward/mitigation measures to challenges faced;
    • To contribute to proposal development (narrative and budget) by providing relevant inputs on CBID/ DID related aspects in close coordination with the technical unit and project management team as well as engaging in resource mobilization efforts to support joint programming;
    • To contribute to the development of the CBID/DID program strategic direction for responding to the needs of women, girls, boys and men;
    • To provide technical support to revise and develop contextualized training and IEC materials and coordinate/facilitate the use of these materials during training and community awareness sessions on CBID/DID
    • To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop Plan programs;

    Monitoring, Implementation and Reporting:

    • To work closely with LETSAI MEL Unit to ensure that implementation and monitoring of activities are implemented in a coordinated and phased manner, in accordance with agreed guide lines, best practices and policy;
    • To ensure that ethical, confidential and sound data collection and information management systems are in place for appropriate CBID/DID analysis, planning, evaluation and advocacy
    • To lead the development and facilitation of trainings/workshops as well as Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and reporting systems and approaches focusing on CBID/DID related topics;
    • As required, to provide technical support through developing sessions to support the implementation of the project’s activities including adaptation and upgrading of CBID /DID evidence-based tools and systems;
    • To lead and support the development of M&E Framework and monitoring & evaluation plan for CBID / DID related activities and indicators and ensure adherence to the plans and systems;
    • To develop and roll out training plans and facilitate trainings for the community CBID / DID service providers/ Staff on monitoring, referring and reporting  cases based on the assessed needs in collaboration with the Advocacy and Data management units;
    • To plan and undertake regular monitoring visits and meetings with relevant stakeholders in the targeted areas in assessing the protection trends, patterns and advise on the prevention and response strategies;
    • To support the analysis and reporting on programme and project progress and trends in terms of achieving results, using existing monitoring and evaluation tools and introducing new mechanisms and systems; identify constraints and resource deficiencies, and recommend corrective action;
    • To consistently and proactively monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams; promptly reporting concerns or incidents to Relevant units as required to maintain/enhance the security environment for Plan programs;
    • To coordinate and support timely delivery of quality project and financial reporting and ensures adequacy with finance and activities;
    • To lead the development and implementation of regular, participatory assessments/feedback and complaint surveys and mechanism with and for affected communities in accordance to LETSAI regulations, Core Humanitarian Standards as well ensuring the alignment with already established systems and policies available;
    • To provide inputs and consolidate weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports on the protection related activities, training and meetings and contribute high-quality LETSAI and donor reports on activities, indicators and achievements, as well as best practices and lessons learned;
    • To maintain effective and efficient oversight, quality control and reporting systems and processes that ensure regular field monitoring and modifications as required.

    Coordination and Communication:

    • To attend regular calls, meetings, etc. as required by LETSAI;
    • To coordinate with the Communication and Advocacy officer to ensure that all media related activities are in line with the Do No Harm approach and inter-agency guidelines and to support resource mobilization efforts by contributing to proposal preparation and development of communication and advocacy materials and related engagements;
    • Promote knowledge management including through drafting/finalizing inputs into LETSAI Protection programme documents and reports, including donor reports, sharing good practices, lessons learned, and knowledge/information exchange with all partners on response, and harnessing knowledge institutions resources and partnerships as appropriate.
    • Build and maintain for overall project tasks on planning, budgeting, and staffing requirements on achievement by Ensuring project goals and Outputs achieved and met
    • To share relevant information with the teams in accordance with confidentiality regulations and policies; establishing and supporting the development and revision of the proper and sound documentation and data filing system;
    • Actively develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including donors (if required), government actors, UN agencies, international and local NGOs, and other relevant actors.

    Human Resources – Staff supervision and Development

    • To maintain open and professional relations with all the team members, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions and different task assigned to them;
    • To lead and support the orientation, on-going development/ refresher training and capacity building of CBID / DID Staff when required.
    • To ensure refreshers and learning sessions are carried out as needed;
    • Ensure timely completion and submission of regular program and staff reporting and annual performance reviews, as appropriate

    Technical qualification and Expertise Requirements

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology, Public/Community Health, Human Rights or another related field;
    • Minimum of 5 years (CBID / DID) of progressively responsible experience
    • Demonstrate experience in capacity building trainings
    • Previous experience in emergency preparedness and response as well as prior trainings in CBID/DID issues and their application in  disability inclusion, humanitarian, conflict, recovery and development settings;
    • Prior experience in counselling and psychosocial support will be an asset;
    • Experience in developing methods, tools and programs/interventions in collaboration with government agencies, civil society, and private organizations/institutions.
    • Experience of conducting assessments in emergency contexts.
    • Experience of training on relevant technical areas with a variety of audiences.
    • Experience of multiple managing grants and donor’ reporting requirements
    • Excellent interpersonal qualities and the ability to work with people from a range of backgrounds, promote teamwork, flexible and able to handle pressure and conflict well in a calm and constructive manner;
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision from Executive Director and under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines and communicate clearly and effectively at all levels;
    • Excellent negotiation, representation, and facilitation skills and the ability to work comfortably in a very sensitive environment;
    • Strong organizational and work prioritization skills and attention to detail;
    • Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work cooperatively.

    Project Finance Manager

    Project Scope:

    • This project will directly target persons with disabilities, their family members and other community structures, the state and local government ministries, departments and agencies, Civil Society Organizations including Organization of People with Disabilities (OPDs), Women and girls, Community Health Workers and community members in  Borno state.
    • The project is equally a deliberate focus on strengthening the capacity of OPDS, CSOs, FBOs ,  government stakeholders and  media platforms using a structured multi-sectorial  and Community Based Inclusive Development approach to reinforce awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities.

    General Position Summary

     General accounting

    • In collaboration with other finance, Admin and Programme staff ensure that accurate records for all daily transactions are kept in the right format and place.
    • Prepare balance sheets and other reports as may be required.
    • Process invoices in support of payments as may be required.
    • Review/record accounts payable and accounts receivable in line with organizational policies, and accounting standards.
    • Ensure that the financial system is always up to date with financial data.
    • Manage petty cash
    • Perform any other accounting duty that may arise from time to time.

    Banking

    • Ensure that all banking transactions are done on time with very minimum risk and in line with organisational and donor policies.
    • In collaboration with other finance staff, support the Finance Manager and the Executive Director to reconcile bank statements.
    • Work with programme team to prepare all budgets that may be required.
    • Ensure that petty cash is managed in line with organisational policies and practices.
      Auditing, Financial Management and Reporting
    • Prepare the preparation of month end/quarterly financial reports.
    • Prepare both the conduct and management of internal and external audit processes.
    • Provide support to the Head of Finance/Finance Manager to implement all audit recommendations.
    • Prepare and submit monthly management and donor reports to Senior Management Team(SMT)

    Grant Management and Compliance.

    • Lead the Operations team to meet programme management requirements.
    • Enforce compliance with national, organisational and donor conditions as applicable
    • In collaboration with the Operations team, support the effective management of grants by
      ensuring that all grant conditions (including procurement, reporting and extensions) are
      met.
    • In collaboration with the operations team, ensure that routine grant monitoring
      mechanisms (like monthly and quarterly budget meetings) are held and actions
      implemented.
    • Ensure documentation and filing of project activities are done in compliance with
      Organisation and donor policies and procedures.
      • Support in forecast preparation and Management

    Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications

    Essential

    • A degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with at least two years of post-qualification experience.
    • A professional qualification such as ACA, CNA, or any other foreign qualification like ACCA, CIMA is an added advantage
    • A solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
    • Experience in using financial software like QuickBooks, ProMIS etc
    • Advanced MS Excel skills
    • Knowledge of financial and tax regulations
    • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
    • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.

    Desirable

    • Honesty and integrity are desired attributes in this role.

    Media & Communications Officer

    Project Scope:

    Social media management

    • Draft, schedule, and publish content across ONE’s channels natively and using Brandwatch.
    • Help maintain our global content calendar and streamline workflows using Asana, Zoho and other tools.
    • Support with community management through thoughtful responses and proactive outreach.
    • Support paid social campaigns and content boosting.

    Data & analytics

    • Track performance across platforms with Brandwatch, Google Analytics, and native platform dashboards.
    • Work with our social media lead to provide insights on audience behavior and content trends.
    • Help share best practices to drive growth, reach, and engagement.

    Education and experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2+ years of relevant content/digital experience and a strong portfolio of social-first content.
    • Strong skills in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, CapCut, Descript, AfterEffects, and Premiere Rush, and other digital tools.
    • Familiarity with and enthusiasm to explore AI tools for drafting, design, and video editing.
    • Hands-on experience with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and BlueSky.
    • A sharp eye for what’s trending and an instinct for turning viral moments into mission-driven content.
    • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a knack for short-form copy and an understanding of how impactful content can inspire audiences and drive advocacy change.
    • Experience or demonstrated interest in advocacy, policy, or global development issues.
