• Carrying out production activities as instructed by the Production Supervisor.
• Cleaning the work area, wiping surfaces, and washing utensils and machinery after use.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
• Resuming production on time to ensure timely availability of products.
• Ensuring that all products made are of good quality.
• Adhering to all company laid down policies and culture.
• Alerting the Production Supervisor of any inconsistency in available resources or equipment.
• Adhering to other directives as given by the Production Supervisor or Manager.

Job Requirements

• Applicant must have at least an SSCE certificate.
• Applicant should be able to read, write and express himself in spoken English.
• Applicants should have physical stamina and be willing to work in a factory setting.

Salary

• N25,000 monthly.

• Maintaining a proper record of financial transactions as it relates to the Bakery.
• Creating a database that can help in future business planning.
• Offering vital advice on matters like revenue and expenditure trends.
• Helping in taking important decisions like hiring outsourcing services, taking loans etc.
• Dealing with any discrepancies and irregularities related to finances.
• Helping in tax preparation and filing.
• Dealing with suppliers and third parties.
• Timely preparation of payroll and payslips, ensuring that proper bank accounts are credited and debited.
• Reconciliation of Cashbook account with Bank statement.
• Setting accounting goals and objectives.
• Risk evaluation and opportunities analysis.
• Ensuring that there is consistency in procedures and policies across the accounting department and that these policies are appropriately set for the achievement of the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Liaising with the Administrative department on the preparation of weekly/month budgets.
• Preparing monthly reports of the Company's financial statements as well as the profit information for the month.
• Monitoring debtor's and creditor's balances to ensure prompt payment and proper documentation.
• Balancing total cashier's account for the day and sending a daily update to Centre Manager.
• Authorizing and appending payment voucher.
• Interacting with Bank account officers as it relates to the Bakery.
• Overseeing raw material store and dispatch unit.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc in Accounting or Finance from a well-recognized tertiary institution.
• 1- 3 years experience.
• Membership of ICAN or any other recognized accounting professional body is a plus.
• An analytical mind and a keen eye for details.
• Sound numerical abilities and proficiency in computer operation.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.
• High level of integrity and good communication skills.
• Sound in financial reporting and financial management.
• Applicants must be between the ages of 22-28years.
• Applicants should be residents of Lagos.
• Ability to work well with minimum or no supervision and should also possess problem-solving abilities.

Remuneration

• N55,000 monthly.

Job Description

• Handling all customer payments and credit transactions.
• Arranging and stacking cash neatly in the safe.
• Responsible for the daily balancing and reconciliation of cashbooks.
• Handling daily cash remittance.
• Attending meetings and training as scheduled.
• Operating point of sale system and keeping assigned area fully clean.
• Assisting customers and answering questions in a friendly manner.
• Following all established procedures for documenting errors in cashing procedures.
• Setting up, stocking, replenishing and maintaining cash register station.
• Handling petty cash and reimbursable.
• Keeping cash office locked when not around and safeguarding key.
• Closing accounts properly before handing them over to the next cashier on duty.
• Entering all postings into the appropriate accounts using the company software.
• Sending report to Accountant/Branch Manager at the close of shift for the day.
• Raising sales invoices and issuing receipts after payment to customers.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of an OND qualification with Upper Credit in Accounting or any Management Discipline.
• Applicant must possess good arithmetic skills and numerical abilities
• Applicant must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Applicants must possess integrity and be willing to learn.
• Applicant must be resident in Surulere or environs.

Salary

• N35,000 monthly.
