Your daily adventures will include:

• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes in Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia, India, and other emerging markets
• Working closely with hiring managers to understand the position, team needs, culture, values, and preferred attributes of potential hires
• Partnering with different business units ranging from Engineering, Product, Data Science, Risk Operations, Marketing, Finance, Growth, Capital Markets and many others
• Actively sourcing, interviewing, and selecting exceptional talent and implementing best recruitment practices
• Representing FairMoney professionally and warmly as the first point of contact

• Contributing ideas to improve our processes, employer brand, and hiring strategy
• Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in an agency or in-house
• Strong online candidate sourcing skills
• Knowledge of key modern social media and recruiting channels
• Experience closing junior/mid/senior-level candidates and negotiating offer terms
• Experience working with a diverse team and striving for fairness in hiring all races, genders, and ages
• Ability to deliver challenging recruitment projects on time
• Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making is strongly preferred

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Maths, or related technical domain
• You have 6+ years of experience in backend software development with C#
• You have 2+ years of experience working in Fintech
• You have 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and object-oriented design skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience being a part of building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers;
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations;
• Experience with cloud providers, preferably Azure, alternatively AWS/Azure;
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, create technical designs and specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• S/he will be responsible for driving the business of Merchant acquiring in the different merchant sectors (Supermarket, Pharmacies, Filling Stations, Eateries & Restaurants, Lounge and Bar and Hotels), within the Region, and developing; deploring strategies to increase sales revenue
• Developing plans and strategic initiatives for growing the Merchant Acquisition business and achieving the companys sales goals;
• Managing and leading the Merchant acquisition team within the Region, to deliver profitable growth

Requirements

• The role is to develop new service functionality for our iOS application that powers the interaction between our Mobile-first Microfinance bank and our worldwide customers. Functionality that acts to maximize customer experience and utility.

• Designing and building mobile applications for Apple's iOS platform

• Fixing application bugs before the final release
• Increasing code generation coverage

• 2+ years in pair programming, TDD, and code reviews
