    Main Function

    • The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing premium, high-end hair care, styling, and treatment services to a diverse female clientele.
    • The role requires exceptional technical expertise in managing, treating, and styling both local (Afro-textured, natural, relaxed) and foreign/international hair types (Caucasian, Asian, premium human hair extensions, and wigs).

    Role Responsibilities
    Hair Styling & Technical Execution:

    • Provide expert styling services including, but not limited to, cutting, coloring, highlighting, balayage, chemical relaxing, texturizing, and heat styling.
    • Demonstrate elite proficiency in handling local hair (protective styling, natural hair care, locking, and precision cutting for Afro-textured hair).
    • Demonstrate elite proficiency in handling foreign/international hair (precision cutting, complex color chemistry, blowout techniques, and treatments for fine, straight, or wavy textures).
    • Install, style, color, and maintain premium lace wigs, weaves, tape-ins, and other high-end hair extensions.

    Client Consultation & Relationship Management:

    • Conduct thorough hair and scalp consultations to recommend appropriate treatments, cuts, and styles based on the client's hair history and facial features.
    • Build and sustain a loyal premium clientele through exceptional service delivery and interpersonal relations.
    • Maintain detailed digital client profiles, tracking their hair preferences, chemical formulas used, and purchase history.
    • Address and resolve any client dissatisfaction promptly and professionally.

    Hair Health, Treatments & Chemical Safety:

    • Diagnose hair and scalp conditions to recommend corrective treatments (e.g., keratin, protein, deep conditioning, and scalp therapies).
    • Safely mix and apply chemical agents (dyes, bleaches, relaxers) strictly adhering to manufacturer instructions and safety protocols to prevent hair damage.
    • Stay updated on global hair health trends, innovative techniques, and safety standards.

    Revenue Generation & Retail Sales:

    • Actively recommend and cross-sell premium salon retail products (shampoos, serums, conditioners) to clients for post-salon care.
    • Meet and exceed monthly personal revenue targets for both hair services rendered and retail product sales.
    • Promote salon packages, seasonal campaigns, and loyalty programs to clients.

    Station Maintenance & Hygiene Compliance:

    • Maintain a pristine, highly organized, and hygienic workstation at all times.
    • Ensure all styling tools, brushes, shears, and electrical equipment are thoroughly sterilized before and after every use.
    • Monitor product usage at the styling station to eliminate waste and report low stock to the inventory team or manager.

    Experience / Qualification

    • Diploma / Certification from a recognized hair academy, beauty school, or vocational institution is highly preferred.
    • 5+ years of proven, hands-on experience working as a senior stylist in a high-end, luxury salon environment.
    • Demonstrated portfolio showing elite proficiency in treating and styling both African/local hair textures and Western/foreign hair textures.
    • Proven track record of advanced color formulation and high-end hair extension installations.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of premium, international hair product brands (e.g., Olaplex, Kérastase, Mizani, Moroccanoil).
