    HR Manager

    Description

    • Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced HR and Admin Manager. This pivotal role is designed to foster a positive work environment, streamline human resources processes, and ensure efficient administrative operations within the firm.
    • The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies that support our mission and values.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company standards.
    • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Manage employee benefits programs and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
    • Facilitate performance management, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career development.
    • Address employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions with utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Assess training needs and organize development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
    • Lead career development and succession planning efforts to build a strong talent pipeline within the organization.
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture and enhance retention.
    • Manage daily administrative functions, such as office management, facilities maintenance, and procurement.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Law, or related field.
    • MBA in Human Resources, Psychology, or related discipline.
    • Professional HR certifications (CIPM, HRCi, SHRM, or equivalent) are preferred.
    • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in core HR functions, with proven leadership roles, ideally within consulting, advisory firms, NGOs, or dynamic environments.
    • Comprehensive understanding of Nigerian labor legislation, HR best practices, and industry standards.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across all organizational levels.
    • Strong business acumen, high emotional intelligence, and effective coaching skills.

    Accountant

    Responsibilities

    • Oversees Accounting operations, which include financial accounting, accounts payable, and payroll
    • Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
    • Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reconciliations of general ledger and internal accounts.
    • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports to ensure performance.
    • Maintains best fixed asset system.
    • Provide advice and assistance in making decisions in the areas of finances.
    • Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manage accounts receivable collections.
    • Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
    • Prepare all monthly client invoicing and vendor payments.
    • Coordinate the accounting team by determining priorities.
    • Reconcile the organization’s bank account, and resolve any statement queries.
    • Raise payment vouchers, Manage overall expenditure
    • Document project financial account.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from an accredited University
    • 3 - 5 years work experience.
    • Relevant professional qualification e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPFA, etc. is and added advantage
    • Proven experience as an accountant ad Auditor or in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong ethical standards and integrity.
