    Event Coordinator

    Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

    Overview

    • They currently need an Event Coordinator who is responsible for sourcing for business opportunities, planning and implementing, and coordinating onsite management on highly complex meeting and conferences.
    • Considerable travels, evening and weekend may be involved.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Prepare proposals and cost analysis for client’s mandate
    • Make compelling presentation that shows in detail the organisation’s approach to meeting the client’s mandate
    • Meet the client and responsible for negotiations
    • Prepare meeting minutes and send to client
    • Facilitate and ensure initial payment based on the organisation’s terms of engagement are adhered to
    • Visit and select appropriate venues based on client’s mandate
    • Consistently identify vendors that meet requirement and standards with competitive prices
    • Responsible for selecting suitable vendors based on client’s mandate
    • Communicate with client and give regular update and review on mandate
    • Coordinate event logistics and ensure the client stays within agreed budget
    • Ensure the account department makes necessary payment to services vendors based on how well they have meet stated requirement
    • Handle final account and closure of event
    • Prepare detail checklist for event team prior to event
    • Identify prospective clients and market services to them

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc in any discipline
    • 3+ years relevant experience in event and hospitality space.

    • Analyzing, planning and organizing
    • Delivering result and meeting customers’ expectations
    • Ability to achieve personal work goals and objectives
    • Knowledge of event coordination and management

    Executive Assistant

    Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

    Overview

    • They currently need an Executive Assistant to provide support to the Chairman as well as direct and coordinate office and related activities, including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services and office equipment.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage the diary and appointment of the Chairman.
    • Draft, type and dispatch all the Chairman’s correspondences
    • Take minutes of all meetings
    • Take and relay accurately and timely telephone messages
    • Respond to enquiries
    • Maintain a comprehensive filling system for the Chairman’s office
    • Coordinate and plan Chairman’s travel plans in conjunction with travel company
    • Prepare and retrieve Chairman’s expenditures and claims
    • Manage CEO’s local travels and transportation
    • Carry out some research for the Chairman and concluding Chairman’s speaking engagement
    • Responsible for organizing/coordinating Chairman’s other responsibilities
    • Other personal errands for Chairman’s as may be requested

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc in any discipline
    • Minimum of 4 years experiences as Executive or Personal Assistant
    • Great interpersonal skills and ability to efficiently work with people
