    Accountant

    Job Objectives 

    Support: Support the operations of our group companies (Multixept Associates Ltd, BTech Construction Ltd, and Akida Hills Ltd).  

    Compliance: To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial management across the  Group entities by maintaining robust financial records and remittance of statutory obligations. 

    Growth & sustainable development: To strengthen financial controls and deliver clear, reliable management reports that support informed decision-making, while enabling sustainable business operations through effective cash flow management, budgeting, and  stakeholder coordination. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Maintain accurate financial records for all three companies; 
    • Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated reports & present these to stakeholders; 
    • Manage invoicing, payments, and expense tracking across entities; 
    • Monitor cash flow and project related costs; 
    • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations including tax filings; 
    • Coordinate payroll, pensions, and statutory deductions where applicable; 
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; 
    • Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies; 
    • Implement and maintain financial controls and reporting systems. 

    Qualifications & Skills 

    • Bsc.in accounting, Finance, or related field. 
    • Must be at lease ACCA certified (better if ICAN certified) 
    • 4 - 6 years\' work experience 
    • Preferably with experience working in a construction company 
    •  Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax and regulatory requirements; 
    • Experience managing accounts for multiple companies or entities; 
    • Strong knowledge of construction project accounting, cost control, and financial regulations. 
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP systems). 
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, presentation and communication skills.

    Procurement/Quantity Surveyor

    Summary 

    • We are currently seeking to engage a Procurement/Quantity Surveyor to support the operations of our companies (BTech Construction Group Ltd, and Akida Hills Ltd). The successful candidate will:  
    • Be responsible for managing project costs and ensuring financial efficiency from design to completion. The role combines cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and supplier management to keep projects within budget while maintaining quality. 
    • Provide procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency, timely delivery of materials, and adherence to project specifications while maintaining quality. 
    • Make strategic and wholistic decisions on behalf of the companies. 

    Responsibilities 

    Cost Estimation, Budgeting, Cost Control & Reporting 

    • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment. 
    • Develop and monitor project budgets to ensure financial control. 

    Procurement & Tendering 

    • Manage procurement processes including supplier selection and negotiation. 
    • Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and rate analyses. 
    • Review technical specifications for procurement. 
    • Evaluate contractor and supplier proposals. Also, oversee contract execution and compliance. 
    • Approve major procurement decisions. 
    • Work with the Project Manager to draft, review, and manage contracts with contractors, suppliers, and consultants. 
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements 
    • Track project expenditures and provide regular financial reports 
    • Control project financial risks, identify risks, and propose cost-saving measures without compromising quality. 
    • Work closely with architects, accountants, engineers, and project managers to align procurement strategies with design and construction goals. 
    • Support decision-making by providing financial insights. 

    Requirements 

    • BSc/MSc. degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or related field. 
    • 4-6 years experiences in construction or architecture firms. 
    • A chartered Quantity surveyor (preferred) 
    • Willingness to travel (important) 
    • Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods. 
    • Proficiency in cost management software (e.g. MS Project). 
    • Analytical and negotiation skills for supplier management. 
    • Understanding local and international procurement regulations. 
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
