    Analyst - Master Data (SCM)

    Description

    • Assist in the definition and management of the master data strategy.
    • Review existing data management framework.
    • Understand all data flows across SCM Cloud solution and WMS integrations.
    • Ensure local data architecture is aligned to the global architecture in order to make effective use of existing solutions.
    • Ensure quality of data and information in the SCM module of Oracle Cloud ERP solution.
    • Develop configuration specification for ERP data requirements.
    • Perform end-to-end testing and data reconciliation of all data.
    • Implement end-to-end testing of data architecture across systems.
    • Develop tools, models, templates and processes to assist in reconciliation of data across ERP modules to prevent financial loss to the organization
    • Ensure the success of Supply Chain Management functional stream and all data requirements.
    • Support the implementation of governance and business processes to ensure data integrity, data standardization, data quality, and change management of data across multiple process areas and systems.
    • Facilitate prompt query resolution for tickets raised in respect of new master data requests on Oracle Cloud ERP platform.
    • Define and document MTN Nigeria's needs in assigned functional domain of Oracle ERP Cloud such as Blanket Purchase Agreement, Contract Management Database, Supplier Site/Assignments, Supplier Bank Master, Supplier Product and Services, WMS Integrations etc.
    • Ensure the localization of data management based on any specific tax, legal or regulatory requirements that may arise.
    • Support the Enterprise Master Data Manager in the delivery of new initiatives arising from Demand management, quarterly releases pertaining to revision/cleansing/enhancement etc. of master data.


    Education:

    • First degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Accounting/Finance or other Numerate disciplines
    • Knowledge of Data Science/Analytics, SQL, ORACLE or Other Query Languages is advantageous
    • Fluent in English 

    Experience:

    3 – 7 years’ experience which includes: 

    • At least 3 years in relevant sector/industry relevant role, i.e. telecommunication, accounting, technology.
    • Proven track record of ERP project delivery, especially as Data Analyst 
    • Proven knowledge of business/functional skills
    • Strong hands on experience with ERP Data conversion projects
    • Experience in participating in analysis sessions with the user community to capture, define MDM requirements clearly, completely and correctly
    • Ability to develop and implement data governance and standards 
    • Knowledge of Automation tools such as Alteryx, Blue Prism, UI Automation or UiPath will be an advantage

    Specialist - Financial System Systems Control

    Description

    • Conduct impact analysis and update Oracle Fusion user access allocation matrix.
    • Provide technical support in order to ensure optimal performance of ERP System and other financial systems.
    • Interface with Information Systems to ensure the availability of the legacy ERP system and other financial systems.
    • Co-ordinate access control to financial data and systems.
    • Review, test and track system change requests and requirements and monitor changes to financial system configuration data.
    • Participate in all events relating to system upgrades, testing and deployment objectives.
    • Audit and review roles and access rights created on Oracle Fusion and ensure its adequacy in meeting the overall business goals.
    • Serve as an interface with Information Technology Division on financial systems requirements and controls for Finance.

    • Collaborate with project team on new system implementation and upgrades.
    • Train employees on the use of financial systems
    • Design/Develop/Review user security and role matrix on financial systems to prevent privilege escalation and ensure adequate segregation of duties.

    Education:

    • First degree in any related discipline 
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification.
    • Part accounting professional qualification. E.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA will be an added advantage.
    • ERP Certification will be an added advantage.
    • Fluent in English 

    Experience:
    3 – 7 years’ experience including:

    • Extensive hands-on experience  on tier-I or II ERP systems such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, SAGE etc. or EPM solutions such as Hyperion, Cognos etc.
    • Experience in basic office automation and report writing using VB Scripts, PL/SQL etc.
    • Experience in using Business Intelligence and Analytics tools as Power BI, Oracle OBIEE, SAS etc.
    • Financial Accounting experience
    • Experience in peripheral software integrations to Financial Systems 
    • Customer-service oriented management

    Advisor - Learning and Talent Management Commercial (EBU and TR)

    Description

    • Develop, coordinate and manage the marketing, intake, eligibility and enrolment procedures and systems for Education Programs.
    • Providing academic and career advice to MTN Nigeria staff pursuing or planning to pursue academic or professional programs through the Accredited Learning Scheme.
    • Develop periodic reports and statistics on learning-related activities in the organization and participants’ progress
    • Provide appropriate information and advice to MTN HR (Learning and Development) on how to work in concert with Resource Development Institute (RDI) and other providers to ensure the Accredited Learning Scheme achieves the aim of developing highly skilled and effective staff.
    • Generate talent/succession planning, career management and employee development reports as required.
    • Analyze and provide statistical data in relation to career management, employee development and succession readiness.
    • Support in the preparation of the required documentation for talent review and participate in development/career management discussions.
    • Collate employee career development plans and maintain all employee career/ development records in appropriate database.
    • Provide administrative support for MTN’s Leadership Talent Management programme and other development initiatives.

    Advisor - Capability Development

    Description

    • Support the design of curriculum and the development of programs and manuals.
    • Assist in the development of competency-based training programs for the organization.
    • Review MTN Nigeria Competency Model and ensure all competencies in the directory are covered in the training curriculum.
    • Assist in the design of assessment templates and prepare pre-course assessments and advise suitability of staff for recommended training programs throughout the organization.
    • Maintain course catalogue and other training/development related records for MTN Nigeria.

    • Cultivate and maintain a robust Internal Faculty pool for training delivery.

    General Manager - Enterprise Sales

    Description

    • Provide technical leadership/advice in the formulation and development of Enterprise Sales policies and guidelines and ensure compliance of operations of the department with MTN policies and procedures.
    • Develop and implement plans in support of approved Enterprise Solutions strategies, ensuring an effective method of monitoring related initiatives is deployed as well as providing regular management reports on the plans.
    • Develop Enterprise Sales strategies and initiatives to meet targets in alignment with the division/MTN corporate strategy and in response to events or changes impacting departmental activities.
    • Drive and manage the Enterprise Business Sales team to meet and beat revenue and new business targets and ensure integrated channel management, supported by appropriate systems such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
    • Provide thought leadership and advice on the creation/adoption of a framework to integrate business analysis and planning into MTNN’s engagements and identify/create distinct competitive advantages for the organization through strategic use of information.
    • Plan and develop framework and strategies for delivering information/analytics solutions to key stakeholders and leading the design and oversight of business intelligence and reporting tools. 
    • Lead and collaborate with other business units in the development of business models for use in MTNN and develop measurement strategies to support ongoing strategy development and project optimization.
    • Assess resource requirements for the department and develop budget for the Enterprise Sales function and regularly monitor resources of the department ensuring they are allocated and utilized in a cost effective and financially disciplined manner and in line with budget provisions and new markets.
    • Ensure full compliance with telecommunications license provisions, sector regulations and competition laws.
    • Support the sale of complex communications solutions in large corporate customer organizations (consultative-based selling) by developing effective counterpart relationships.
    • Identify viable business opportunities trends with strong supporting business case imperative to outputs, strategic business and industry-related research and analysis.
    • Regularly monitor and review resources of the department ensuring they are allocated and utilized in a cost effective and financially disciplined manner and in line with budget provisions.
    • Partner effectively with MTNN’s critical high value customers to enhance MTN’s Corporate Brand.
    • Develop and implement an effective account management strategy which includes contact strategies, account development planning and sales pipelines.
    • Develop and implement reseller agreements, distribution strategies and other sale opportunities.
    • Review Enterprise Sales performance/market information, provide executive management with timely feedback on response actions in keeping in line with set business objective and goals and develop contingency plans as required to address shortfalls or excesses.
    • Coach and mentor the Enterprise Sales team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of all related job requirements and accountabilities and leverage human resources career development programs for staff career development.
    • Provide leadership and direction in the operations, leading team to deliver on respective business targets and improve overall performance of the department.

    Education:

    • A first degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any other relevant discipline
    • An post graduate degree preferably in a business related discipline (e.g. MSc , MBA, etc) will be advantageous
    • Fluent in English and language of country preferable

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 12 years’ experience which includes:
    • Senior management track record of 3 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/industry as per relevant role
    • Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise (understanding of emerging markets is advantageous)
    • Work experience across diverse cultures and geographies
    • Experience in managing a national sales force 
    • Experience in developing sales strategies and performance metrics
    • Commercial experience in relevant sector
    • Experience in identifying new markets
    • Corporate sales experience is a plus
