    Waiter/Waitress

    Main Function

    Waiters and Waitresses are responsible for delivering excellent dining service by taking orders, serving  food and beverages, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. They play a vital role in creating a 
    welcoming atmosphere and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service in line with the  establishment’s brand.

    Role Responsibilities 

    Guest Service and Interaction

    • Greet guests warmly and present menus in a professional manner.
    • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
    • Serve meals and drinks efficiently while ensuring correct presentation and quality.
    • Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt assistance throughout their dining experience.

    Dining Area Management

    • Set up tables, arrange tableware, and ensure dining areas are clean and ready for service.
    • Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently between guests.
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area at all times.

    Food and Beverage Knowledge

    • Demonstrate good knowledge of menu items, daily specials, wines, and beverages.
    • Make recommendations and upsell dishes, desserts, and drinks where appropriate.
    • Provide information on food preparation, allergens, and ingredients as required.

    Customer Satisfaction and Problem Resolution

    • Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience and handle complaints professionally.
    • Escalate unresolved issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
    • Collect guest feedback and relay suggestions for improvement.

    Teamwork and Coordination

    • Work closely with other wait staff, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
    • Support colleagues during peak service periods to maintain efficiency.
    • Follow service protocols and comply with restaurant policies.

    Cash Handling and Billing

    • Present bills accurately and process payments using the restaurant’s POS system.
    • Handle cash and card transactions with integrity and accountability.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    Education

    • Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification.
    • Hospitality training or certification is an added advantage.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality  environment.
    • Experience in fine dining or luxury service settings is an added advantage.

    Skills

    Customer Service and Communication

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
    • Strong ability to engage with guests and anticipate their needs.

    Service and Presentation

    • Good knowledge of dining etiquette, service procedures, and table settings.
    • Ability to carry trays, serve multiple dishes, and handle food safely.

    • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments.
    • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
    • Problem-Solving and Multitasking

    • Numerical and POS Handling
    • Basic arithmetic skills for billing and cash handling.

    Restaurant Manager

    Role Summary

    The Restaurant Manager will oversee the daily operations of Juremi Ventures’ restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage staff, control costs, maintain high standards of hygiene and compliance, and deliver an outstanding dining experience that aligns with Juremi’s brand values.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Management

    • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening/closing routines, reservations, and service delivery.
    • Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in compliance with health & safety regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, food quality standards, and service protocols.

    Financial & Inventory Management

    • Monitor restaurant budgets, sales targets, and profitability.
    • Control costs (labor, food, waste, utilities) and implement cost-saving measures.
    • Oversee inventory control, stock levels, vendor relationships, and supply chain efficiency.

    Customer Experience

    • Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
    • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and escalations promptly and professionally.
    • Develop customer engagement strategies to build loyalty and repeat patronage.

    Staff Management & Training

    • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff.
    • Conduct regular staff meetings, performance reviews, and training on service excellence.
    • Motivate and inspire the team to deliver consistent service quality.

    Marketing & Brand Alignment

    • Collaborate with marketing/branding team to execute promotions, events, and campaigns.
    • Monitor market trends and competitors to adjust offerings accordingly.
    • Ensure the restaurant reflects Juremi Ventures’ brand identity and customer promise.

    Reporting & Administration

    • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales and performance reports.
    • Track KPIs and provide management with actionable insights.
    • Ensure proper documentation, licenses, and compliance certifications are up to date.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (or relevant equivalent experience).
    • 5+ years’ experience managing a restaurant, hotel F&B outlet, or hospitality business.
    • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
    • Proven experience in budgeting, inventory management, and staff leadership.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

    Internal Auditor

    Main Function 

    The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal  controls, risk management, and governance processes across all business units within the Group. This role  ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, identifies operational  inefficiencies, and provides recommendations for continuous improvement. The position works closely  with management to safeguard the organization’s assets, enhance accountability, and maintain financial  and operational integrity. 

    Role Responsibilities 

    Internal Audit Planning and Strategy 

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive annual audit plan aligned with the organization’s objectives. 
    • Identify high-risk areas and prioritize audits to address key operational and financial risks. 
    • Define the scope, objectives, and methodologies for individual audits. 

    Audit Execution and Reporting 

    • Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. 
    • Evaluate the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information. 
    • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risks, and actionable recommendations for management. 
    • Present audit results to senior management and the board of directors in a clear and concise manner. 

    Compliance and Risk Management 

    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 
    • Identify and assess potential risks, fraud, or irregularities in business operations. 
    • Recommend and monitor the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and control improvements. 

    Operational and Financial Reviews 

    • Review business processes to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for  improvement. 
    • Monitor financial transactions, records, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
    • Conduct special audits and investigations as required by management or the board of directors. 

    Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication 

    • Collaborate with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency  and alignment. 
    • Work closely with department heads to address audit findings and implement corrective actions. 
    • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance and internal control matters.

    Qualifications and Requirements 

    Education and Certifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 
    • Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CISA are highly desirable.
