Job purpose

Ensure consistent high quality of products by maintaining proper quality checks of all products.  

Responsibilities

• Establish Production/Product Performance and Quality Standards.
• Confirm the quality of products before they are released to customers, while disapproving products with non-conformities
• Generate and maintain quality test records and ensure that test equipment and instruments are provided
• Provides specifications, test-gauges and samples to guide Forming, Printing, Melting and Cold-End Departments in monitoring product qualities
• Ensure that test equipment and instruments are calibrated in accordance with specified operating practices.
• Ensure employee compliance with relevant Quality Management Systems (QMS), Food Safety, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Specification (OHSAS) & Environmental Management System (EMS), policies and procedures.
• Assist the Quality Assurance Manager to Investigate customers’ complaints and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Food Science & Technology, or any other related fields
• 4-6 years’ experience in a similar role
• Use of Microsoft offices - Excel, Words and PowerPoint
• Good report writing skills
• Good communication skills - oral and written

Job purpose

This position ensures availability of machines/equipment for production activities.

Responsibilities

• Rectification of electronics and instrumentation faults and monthly instrumentation reports
• Planning & implementation of preventive scheduled maintenance to ensure that all plant equipment are working properly and efficiently. This includes troubleshooting problems and effecting repairs as needed.
• Monitor Critical Spares Stock level and initiate timely reorder.
• Participate in engineering installations and projects which involves removing old equipment and installing new ones, while displaying efficiency.
• Implementation of Operational Risk Management Analysis (ORMA) recommendations.
• Use technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in ensuring machine availability for production activities.  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation or related fields.  
• Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in English language, PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS WORD
• Analytical and numerical skills
• Sound business and professional ethics
