Job Summary

Mirahub Limited is seeking skilled, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Mobile Phone Technicians to join its technical operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing mobile devices while ensuring repairs are completed to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in smartphone repairs, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on smartphones and smartphone panels.
• Replace faulty components, including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, and other hardware parts.
• Troubleshoot software-related issues, including operating system updates, flashing, and device configuration.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing before returning repaired devices to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, spare parts used, and completed service jobs.
• Ensure proper handling and safe storage of customer devices during the repair process.
• Follow manufacturer and company repair procedures and quality standards.
• Keep the repair workstation clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Communicate repair findings, timelines, and recommendations clearly to customers or service advisors.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or supervisors when necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools and report replenishment needs promptly.
• Stay up to date with new smartphone technologies, repair techniques, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO qualification.
• OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Proven experience as a mobile phone technician or in a similar device repair role.
• Strong knowledge of smartphone hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Experience repairing Android devices; knowledge of iOS devices is an added advantage.
• Ability to use repair tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic software.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional certifications in mobile device repair are an added advantage.
