    Our client in Asset Management is looking to hire a Managing Director. The ideal candidate is required to successfully oversee and coordinate all operational tasks while also providing strategic guidance to ensure that the organization achieves its goals.

    Job Details

    • The ideal candidate will be saddled with the coordination of the overall business activities and operational structure of the company.
    • Monitor and report achievements, ensure steady and continuous growth of Assets Under Management (AUM).
    • Supervise and oversee the conceptualization and implementation of product development strategy to meet clients’ requests, drive profitability and manage competition.
    • Ensure the management of a well-bonded team to achieve optimum performance.

    Group Strategy and Risk Management Manager

    Job Summary

    Our client in Asset Management is looking for a Group Strategy and Risk Manager. The ideal candidate is saddled with formulating and implementing the company's internal and external strategy, mitigating against risk and ensuring system audit control.

    Job Details

    • Governance: Responsible for providing strategic support to the organization’s achievement of its corporate objectives, through the enablement of efficient and effective governance of significant risks and related opportunities, across the group.
    • Risk Monitoring: Undertake the development, deployment, and analysis of Risk Control Self-Assessment Questions, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and other strategic risk parameters (i.e. losses and incidents, key risk exposures and early warning indicators).
    • Risk Assessment: Support the development of analytical systems, data management capabilities, & processes, and undertake risk assessments of the organization’s products, procedures, Service Level Agreements etc.
    • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Lead the proactive identification and analysis of emergent risks to the organization, design appropriate mitigations, and implement them accordingly.
    • Manage Risk Management Policies and Processes: Lead the development and continuous improvement of the organization’s operational and financial risk management processes, and policies, in line with identified best practices, and organizational fit, to mitigate the impact of risk events on the organization.
    • Risk-Based Capital Allocation: Apply appropriate methodology(s) to determine the allocation of economic capital to business activities based on risk, to optimize the group’s risk portfolio through business activities & risk-transfer strategies.
    • Process Mapping: Lead the mapping of functional processes across the organization, to document controls in existing products and processes.
    • After Action Reviews: Disseminate learning points from loss and loss events to all employees.
    • Support Team’s Development: Provide advice, guidance, and assistance to less experienced colleagues as required.
    • Strategy Formulation:
      • Action the development of strategic plans for each SBU in the group
      • Plan, Deliver, Execute and Manage brand strategic campaigns (internal and external);
      • Conduct Market Research and Competitors Analysis;
      • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to marketing strategies;
      • Optimizing budget spending;
      • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.

    Requirements

    • The ideal candidate is required to have a minimum of 10 years working experience and 4 years in a strategic role. 
    • Key Competence: A highly sociable personality with strong interpersonal skills and financial acumen. He must possess a good appreciation and understanding of strategy formulation and business planning frameworks, risk principles and mitigation techniques
    • Professional certification in finance and/or risk management from a recognized professional body (e.g., CFA, CGMA, ACCA, ICAN etc.)

    Treasury Manager

    Our client in Asset Management is looking to hire a Treasury Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Treasury Operations, the organization’s financial assets, liquidity and risk to ensure optimal cash flow, financial stability and profitability.

    Job Details

    • Track and analyse key trends in the area of anti-corruption, counter-fraud, regulatory requirements for anti-corruption, money laundering among others in Nigeria
    • Assess market trends, drive financial risk management, and identify opportunities to maximize cash flow as part of their responsibilities.
    • Drive trading activities in bonds, treasury bills, commercial papers and other financial instruments in the market
    • Ensure thorough effective cash forecasting, that the business has sufficient funds to operate, manage cash pooling arrangements, and oversee all treasury processes in compliance with the company policies.
    • Must assess macroeconomics and industry trends, interest rate fluctuations, foreign exchange exposure, and other potential risk to develop risk mitigation strategies.
    • Manage relationships with banking institutions, negotiating favourable terms for banking services, credit facilities and investment opportunities.
    • Keep up to date with industry trends, new financial products and services that can benefit the organization and its cash.
    • Manage the business capital structure, evaluating different sources of capital (short and long term), such as debt, equity and/or hybrid.
    • Oversees day-to-day operations, including cash disbursement, pooling, collections and accounting reconciliations and reporting.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 10 years significant experience in treasury management, finance or related roles and at least 4 years in a strategic role
    • Must have a proven track record of successfully managing complex treasury operations, finance risk and cash flow (asset & liability management).
    • Professional qualification from a recognized body like ICAN, CIS, CFA, CIMA, ACCA, etc. is required
    • An advanced degree such as an MBA (with an option in Finance) is an added advantage.

    Job Details

    • Plan, lead, develop, coordinate and implement policies, processes, and training to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
    • Provide leadership in developing strategies for strategic workforce plans, performance management, talent development, remuneration, and industrial relations.
    • Act as a champion in driving cutting-edge interventions to drive productivity and profitability of the business.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 7 years related experience in human capital management;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to work independently and use initiative
    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of HR Issues and procedure
    • Professional certification like PHR, SPHR or other HR certification is preferred
