    Key Account Manager (Edo)

    Job Purpose

    To acquire and retain more post-paid customers and generate revenue for the business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the implementation, acquisition & retention strategy for prospective and existing accounts in sector of assignment
    • Responsible for the implementation, acquisition & retention strategy for prospective and existing accounts in the zone
    • Visit a minimum of 5 Corporate Organizations per day, 25 visits per week, 100 visits per month, therefore for 6 months = 600 visits
    • Create opportunities to run presentations of our Corporate products to sector of assignment
    • Responsible for evolving account development plan and relationship management process for accounts in sector of assignment guided by the signed service level agreement

    Lead - FMS, Mobile Money & Enterprise Assurance

    Job Purpose

    Lead the team of FMS, Mobile Money and Enterprise Assurance. Manage all alerts generated on Fraud Management System (FMS) and ensure assurance controls related to Mobile Money and Lease Line (5-Way reconciliation) and provide comprehensive Fraud Monitoring to ensure mitigation of revenue leakages from external/customer Fraud.

    Risk Assessment and Management:

    Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree preferable in Forensic/Investigation or Finance.

    Relevant Experience:

    • 6 - 8 years financial, operational and Information technology experience in Telecom Finance with hands on experience in Revenue Assurance.

    Fixed Home Broadband Project Implementation Manager

    Job Purpose

    The role of the job holder is offer presales support and provide accompanying survey reports, BOQ and design documents with the most optimal and cost-effective solutions that meets the business objectives and recommend areas of improvements, product enhancements inclusive of new platforms, features and services that meets present and future needs of the FTTH and Fixed Home Broadband business.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct technical site surveys for estate Fibre projects.
    • Develop and Validate solutions in terms of financial/technical feasibility and resourcing / procurement requirements.
    • Help/conduct market and competitor analysis with respect to technology and pricing.
    • Establish technical requirements baseline and specify the Fiber Solution Architecture for different needs.
    • Create and validate Fibre project implementation schedules.
    • Provide support to build/change the service catalog and working processes, including network design rules/guidelines, active and passive products, and services decisions.
    • Product Management for 3rd party passive optical network products and building relation with vendors and partners.
    • Create high-level comprehensive customer-centric innovative solution design that address the technical, commercial, and business needs of Estate customers.
    • Provide comprehensive clarification to Customer’s technical concerns and bid queries
    • Develop and validate network models and deployment scenarios
    • Provide Fiber Network Reference Design (HLD and LLD)
    • Generate accurate BOQ according to the customers’ requirements.
    • Estimate Project Costing and Pricing, risk process from the technical perspective.
    • Validate the final SoW, BoQ and RM for tendering deliverable package Support Delivery Operations in setting up the project delivery Organization (OSP Engineering Design, Implementation and Project Teams) that is required to complete the project on time
    • Provide guidance and technical oversight during the detailed design, build, test and deployment phase.
    • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Fibre network to ensure maximum availability and throughput in line with customer's requirements.
    • Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources
    • Provide remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation and in the operational phase of the projects.

    Education and Work Experience Required:

    • Bachelor's (or higher) Degree in Engineering
    • 5+ years industry experience in architecture, design, implementation and operation of large-scale passive and active fiber networks
    • Network design, engineering and/or product specialist background preferred. Experience in network engineering, architecture, planning, GIS tools or operations positions is a bonus
    • Expertise in the design of fiber optic access infrastructures, converged networks and/or transport networks is required to master this position.
    • Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.
    • Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
    • Associate, Professional and Expert Level certifications with OEMs like Cisco, Huawei, Juniper etc. will be an added advantage.
    • Solid understanding of various passive network products, systems and architectures Including Active FTTH network and estate WAN solutions
    • Solid understanding of E2E Fiber OSP process: Survey, Design, As-built, RoW, Implementation, Test, Acceptance, H&S, QA and Operations
    • Expert level competence on Fiber Network Design and strong Implementation/realization experience
    • Planning competence on FTTH/fixed access active networks
    • Understanding the needs for Mobile backhaul

    Head, Taxation

    Job Purpose

    To effectively manage the tax affairs of the company and maintain excellent relationship with the relevant tax authorities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Timely advice on tax implications of proposed transactions, services and new legislation as it affect Airtel Nigeria
    • Overall direction on annual tax budget, quarterly tax forecast and Flash and Forecast.
    • Co-ordination of response to queries from the Federal Inland Revenue Service and State Internal Revenue Service on tax audit.
    • Relationship Management with all the Relevant Tax Authorities, External Auditors, Tax Consultants and other regulatory agencies on Airtel Nigeria Tax matters.
    • Handle correspondences with the Group Tax on Airtel Nigeria Tax matters.
    • Co-ordination of all Tax returns filed with both the FIRS and the States Internal Revenue Service for compliance purposes.
    • Review of Airtel Nigeria contractual agreement for tax compliance purposes.
    • Co-ordination of month end management reports on current and deferred tax matters.
    • Co-ordination of all tax audits and investigation exercise at FIRS and State Internal Revenue Services.
    • Review all intercompany transactions for compliance with Transfer Pricing Regulations.
    • Establish performance expectations and regularly review individual performance.
    • Recommend appropriate rewards and recognition.
    • Coach, develop and retain identified talent in the unit.

    Educational Qualification & Experience Required

    • First Degree in Accounting / Taxation, Professional qualification in Accounting / Taxation (ACA or ACCA and CITN)

    Head of Digital Services

    Job Purpose

    • Responsible for conceiving, developing and executing the digital strategy for delivering digital adoption and revenue through a well-positioned product portfolio.

    • Set Up Digital Revenue Organizations:
    • Run and setup core digital services - Product Marketing (for digital channels adoption) and setup Digital content, advertising and e-Commerce (core, content & other) businesses.
    • Creation of adjacent new business and revenue streams by understanding Content (VAS, Music, Video, Gaming) eco-systems and partners and leading the commercial discussions on partnership opportunities and operationalizing plans for strong execution

    • Monitor and measure adoption funnel performance and optimize journey, communication, messaging and all levers in funnel to attract and retain customers on digital assets.
    • Custodian of app customer experience and optimization. Ensuring the digital channels are serving customers’ telco and content needs
    • Innovation and Content:
    • Drive exceptional focus on digital platforms to drive revenues from content, help drive data penetration through building an exceptional and segmented experience
    • Ability to spot trends and understand seasonal cycles to develop new content/VAS opportunities through partnerships and/or buying or building.
    • Stays abreast of social media trends and uses reputable research/reports on what digital profile of customers and creates plans on product and content roadmap.

    • Certifications or additional qualifications in Advertising, Business Administration, communications and management will be an added advantage.
    • Relevant Experience:
    • Performance Marketing and/or Digital Marketing across large consumer brands
    • Has owned channels/products and or PnL for a high profile/ high-revenue or high-volume digital business and has had to drive results through own, team and cross-functional teams’ actions.
    • At least 15 years working experience with 7 years or more in a senior management role in Telecoms/Digital/social media / Big Tech / Media / Retail industries.
