    Field Operations Supervis0r– Pipelines [Port Harcourt]

    Academics

    • Bachelors/HND in any engineering field

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years working as a Pipeline field operations or maintenance support
    • Technician or permit coordinator in an oil and gas producing field location.
    • Key Interfaces: Pipeline RoW, SOC/Security, HSE team, Community Relations

    Skills (Added advantage)

    • Ability to read and interpret process engineering flow schemes (PEFS) and process documents.
    • Skill level knowledge in running/managing in permit systems.
    • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Outlook, Excel,
    • PowerPoint, and Word)
    • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
    • Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
    • Self-Motivated and perform under minimal supervision.
    • Experience in leading and supervising others in field tasks.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    He/she will be responsible for the following:

    • Lead a team of field personnel (and vendors) to deliver simple and complex activities at work site
    • Manage the shutdown permit and isolation management process.
    • Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary.
    • Report and close out UA/UC.
    • Serves as PTW signatory.
    • Apply the HSSE policy, legislation applicable to crude oil transfer and export.
    • Adhere to operational procedures.
    • Monitor, control and record production rates and performance.
    • Start-up and commissioning of facilities.
    • Perform daily first line monitoring of process parameters and variables.
    • Participate in Daily notification and YTT review meeting
    • Ensure optimized chemical injection rates are followed as advised.
    • Prepare equipment for maintenance interventions
    • Collaborate with other disciplines to execute planned activities.
    • Supervise preparation of equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming, and other procedures as required.
    • Follow-up Procurement for ordered spares and materials until delivery.
    • Raise and achieve budgetary approval for procurement of materials and services.
    • To enable the end-to-end process of material purchasing using Companies Material
    • Management “ways of working” and manage the Requisition-to-Pay (RtP) Process.

    ACADEMIC
