    Piling Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The Piling Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating piling and foundation works to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering specifications.
    • The role involves managing piling operations, quality control, resource allocation, and site coordination.

    Key Responsibilities
    Piling Operations:

    • Plan and supervise all piling and foundation activities on project sites.
    • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
    • Monitor pile installation, reinforcement placement, and concreting activities.
    • Coordinate bored piling, driven piling, CFA piling, and other foundation systems.
    • Ensure pile depths, diameters, and capacities meet design requirements.
    • Supervise pile load testing and review test results.

    Project Management:

    • Develop work schedules and monitor project progress.
    • Coordinate site activities with contractors, consultants, and clients.
    • Monitor productivity and utilization of piling equipment and manpower.
    • Assist in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Resolve technical issues affecting piling operations.

    Quality Assurance & Control:

    • Implement quality control procedures for piling works.
    • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
    • Review material quality and construction methodologies.
    • Maintain accurate site records and quality documentation.

    Health, Safety & Environment:

    • Enforce HSE policies and safe work practices.
    • Conduct site risk assessments and toolbox talks.
    • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

    Reporting & Documentation:

    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
    • Maintain pile logs, testing records, and as-built documentation.
    • Participate in project meetings and technical reviews.

    Requirements
    Educational Qualification:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
    • COREN registration or membership of a relevant professional body is an advantage.

    Experience Required:

    • 3–5 Years work experience.

    Key Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of foundation engineering and piling techniques.
    • Knowledge of construction methods, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Strong leadership and site management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

    Geologist

    Job Summary

    • The Geologist is responsible for conducting geological and geotechnical investigations to support construction and foundation projects.
    • The role involves analyzing subsurface conditions, interpreting soil and rock data, preparing geological reports, and providing recommendations that support safe and cost-effective engineering designs.

    Key Responsibilities
    Geological & Geotechnical Investigations:

    • Conduct site investigations, geological mapping, and subsurface assessments.
    • Supervise borehole drilling, trial pits, sampling, and in-situ testing activities.
    • Log soil and rock samples and maintain accurate geological records.
    • Interpret geological, geophysical, and geotechnical data.
    • Prepare geological and geotechnical reports for project planning and execution.
    • Evaluate groundwater conditions and their impact on construction activities.

    Project Support:

    • Provide geological recommendations for foundation and earthwork designs.
    • Support piling, excavation, and slope stability assessments.
    • Assist engineers in selecting suitable foundation systems.
    • Monitor ground conditions during construction activities.

    Quality, Health & Safety:

    • Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards during site investigations.
    • Verify accuracy of field and laboratory test results.
    • Maintain proper documentation of all geological investigations.

    Reporting & Documentation:

    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports.
    • Maintain geological databases, borehole logs, and site records.
    • Participate in project meetings and technical reviews.

    Requirements
    Educational Qualification:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Geosciences, or a related discipline.
    • Membership of a relevant professional body is an added advantage.

    Experience Required:

    • 3–5 Years work experience.

    Key Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of engineering geology and geotechnical principles.
    • Ability to interpret soil investigation and laboratory test results.
    • Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and geological software.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    Commercial Officer

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual in our company with vast experience in construction cost management, procurement, contract administration, estimating, planning, negotiating and project budgeting.

    Roles / Responsibilities

    • Prepare cost estimates and budgets.
