    Human Resources Officer

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinates and implements HR policies, systems, and initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
    • Handles the end-to-end recruitment process including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
    • Maintains and updates employee records, timesheets, and performance logs.
    • Provides support in training, employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures.
    • Administers staff welfare programs, benefits, and health and safety policies.
    • Acts as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries and conflict resolution.
    • Monitors HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, absenteeism) and provides reports to management.
    • Ensures compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
    • Organizes staff events, recognition programs, and supports the implementation of a positive work culture.
       
    • Coordinates payroll input and works with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payment of staff.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3+ years of proven experience in an HR Officer or Generalist role.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
    • Proficiency in HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Zoho People) and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and conflict-resolution abilities.
    • BSc or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Admin, or related field.
    • HR certifications (CIPM, SHRM) are a plus.

    Quality Control and Compliance Manager

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversees food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across all Sooyah Bistro outlets and kitchen operations.
    • Implements and enforces company-wide compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., NAFDAC, SON, HACCP).
    • Develops quality assurance policies and conducts regular audits on production, storage, and service processes.
    • Monitors SOPs for kitchen and store staff, ensuring consistency and adherence.
    • Trains and sensitizes staff on food safety, hygiene practices, and regulatory updates.
    • Investigates customer complaints and product quality issues, and recommends corrective/preventive actions.
    • Liaises with regulatory agencies during inspections, certifications, and compliance assessments.
    • Reviews supply chain procedures to ensure quality input materials and vendors.
    • Ensures traceability and documentation of all compliance procedures and processes.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5+ years’ experience in quality control, preferably in the QSR or FMCG industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000).
    • Strong audit, process evaluation, and documentation skills.
    • High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
    • BSc/HND in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
    • Professional certifications in food safety/quality control are an added advantage.

    Central Kitchen Manager

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversees daily operations of the central kitchen, ensuring timely and quality meal production for all outlets.
    • Supervises kitchen staff, enforces SOPs, and ensures compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
    • Coordinates inventory planning, raw material procurement, and recipe standardization.
    • Works with the Quality Control team to maintain food consistency and reduce wastage.
    • Trains and motivates kitchen staff, ensuring high productivity and morale.
    • Monitors kitchen equipment, safety measures, and maintenance schedules.
    • Ensures cost-effectiveness and waste control across food preparation activities.
    • Prepares daily and weekly production reports for management review.
    • Collaborates with Operations and Logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and distribution.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 4+ years of experience managing high-volume kitchen operations.
    • Strong understanding of food production, hygiene, and kitchen logistics.
    • Proven leadership, time management, and team coordination skills.
    • Culinary certification or experience in a similar QSR environment is required.

    Storekeeper

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Receives, inspects, and stores all raw materials, packaging, and kitchen supplies.
    • Maintains accurate inventory records using digital stock management tools.
    • Issues inventory to kitchen and outlet staff, maintaining documentation for all dispatches.
    • Conducts periodic stock counts and reconciliations to detect variances or losses.
    • Monitors stock levels and notifies management for reordering in a timely manner.
    • Ensures proper arrangement, labelling, and cleanliness of storage areas.
    • Maintains FIFO (First-In, First-Out) stock rotation to prevent wastage and spoilage.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Attention to detail and integrity in stock management.
    • OND/HND in Business Admin, Purchasing & Supply, or related field.
