    Facility & Logistics Officer

    Job details

    • Assist in overseeing and supervision of essential services i.e. Security, Cleaning, Maintenance, etc.
    • Ensure that Abuja Facilities are well maintained.
    • Ensure that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
    • Assist in overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments.
    • Supervise and check that agreed work by contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies.
    • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and resolve issues promptly.
    • Assist in coordinating the Company fleet.

    Facility Management

    • Assist in managing demands such as repairs, servicing and replacement of equipment /assets.
    • Assist in overseeing the facilities maintenance of all outlets, offices, and purchase of furniture.
    • Vendor management across all areas (electrical, plumbing, wood works etc.).
    • Ensure prompt payment of rents, service charge and liaising with agents and landlords where applicable.
    • Fire safety equipment installation and maintenance.
    • Assist in overseeing general housekeeping across locations and liaison with cleaning company.
    • Assist in managing office projects to include, acquisition of new stores and offices, setting up the office or store/shop and liaise with consultants/ architects carrying out renovations.

    Logistics Management

    • Assist in overseeing the coordination of logistics and movement of inventories across all outlets and office locations.
    • Ensuring optimal use of all available vehicles and motorcycles.
    • Ensuring timely maintenance / servicing of all company vehicles to include insurance renewals and licenses.
    • Assist in liaising with the warehouse manager to ensure that logistics is catered for and there are no gaps with deliveries.

    SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

    • Proven experience in Logistics/ Facility management.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to make sound judgement calls and attention to detail.
    • Excellent negotiation skills and good market knowledge.
    • Organization, time management, prioritizing and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload.
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects at hand
    • Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
    • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Office management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
    • Must be a male.

    QUALIFICATION

    • A relevant HND/ Bachelor’s degree
    • Previous work experience as an Administrative Officer (2 years).

    E-commerce Executive

    Job Summary

    The E-­commerce Executive will manage all customer related orders, inquiries, returns and claims, along with sales. The candidate will be responsible to create an exceptional brand experience for our customers

    Job Responsiilties

    • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service
    • Promptly and professionally respond to incoming phone calls, emails and live chat concerning all customer service related inquiries
    • Accurately process daily entry of orders and perform routine order tracking.
    • Ensure timely processing and shipping of customer orders.
    • Process and track customer returns and claims.
    • Follow up on existing issues and keep customers updated on the status of their orders.
    • Enter and update customer information in the database.
    • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.
    • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
    • Engage with our online customers and go the extra mile to build trust and community
    • Identify and portray brand voice in all interactions with customers.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
    • Previous work experience as an E-commerce Executive
    •  Proficient in Microsoft Suite
    •  Excellent interpersonal communication skills
    •  Experience in startup ecommerce environment  is an added advantage

    Logistics Officer

    Job Summary

    • The ideal candidate is responsible for providing logistic support for the warehouse and provide oversight for the logistic processes. He is responsible for the planning, oversight, and management and coordination of logistics support operations to ensure smooth accomplishment of projects.
    • Oversee the coordination of logistics and movement of inventories across all outlets and office locations.
    • Ensure optimal use of all available vehicles and motorcycles.
    • Ensure timely maintenance / servicing of all company vehicles to include insurance renewals and licenses.
    • Liaise with the warehouse manager to ensure that logistics is catered for and there are no gaps with deliveries.
    • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
    • Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low
    • Maintain quality throughout the logistic processes
    • Study work orders to determine department-specific logistic requirements.
    • Coordinate activities with procurement officers to ensure timely order placement of required items.
    • Perform follow up and tracking activities to determine shipment status.
    • Address shipment and procurement issues such as delays and inaccuracies according to company protocols.
    • Handle freight rates, cost analysis, routing, and scheduling logistics.
    • Ensure that all aspects of logistic teams such as shipping, warehousing, and procurement are working in sync with each other.
    • Create and maintain contingency plans to ensure that all implemented logistic programs work successfully.
    • Organize shipment and coordinate drivers and vehicles to ensure timely and accurate delivery of items.
    • Liaise with regional teams to ensure appropriate procurement of goods and work towards cost-effectiveness of logistical systems.

    Requirements

    • Previous work experience as a Logistics Officer (2-3 years).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to make sound judgement calls and attention to detail.
    • Excellent negotiation skills and good market knowledge.
    • Excellent Customer service.
    • Organization, time management, prioritizing and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload.

    • Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, tasks, schedules, and information.
    • Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
    • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Office management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
    • Minimum of HND/B.Sc

    Salary Range: N85,000 - N100,00
