Logistics Officer at JC International

We are seeking a competent and resourceful Logistics Officer to support our Logistics, Mobilization & Materials Coordinator in ensuring the efficient coordination of personnel, materials, equipment, transportation, and logistics activities across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel, equipment, and materials for projects and training programmes.
• Support the planning and tracking of project materials, tools, and equipment to ensure timely availability.
• Plan and coordinate journey management activities, including journey planning, vehicle allocation, driver scheduling, route assessments, journey approvals, and journey tracking to ensure safe and efficient movement of personnel.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, freight forwarders, transport providers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate seamless logistics operations.
• Monitor logistics schedules and proactively resolve issues that may affect project delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of mobilisation activities, logistics documentation, inventory movements, and material issuance.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinate replenishment where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Prepare periodic logistics and materials reports for management.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Logistics, Mobilization & Materials Coordinator.

Qualification& Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in logistics, operations, supply chain, fleet coordination, or materials management.
• Experience in the oil & gas, engineering, inspection, or industrial services sector is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of logistics coordination, fleet operations, ana journey management principles.
• Ability toa manage multiple priorities.
