    Investment Banking Associate

    Job Summary

    • In this role, you will be responsible for deal origination and client relationship management to drive profitability, meet performance targets and increase shareholders’ value.

    Responsibilities

    • Actively source/originate Investment Banking (IB) transactions, clients, projects, and mandates. Business development within the array of M&A (buy & sell side), DCM & ECM capital raise, and other segments of the IB portfolio.
    • Work with the deals execution Team in developing proposals, pricing mandates, and contracts with appropriate areas within Advisory Services, Group sales, and asset management Sales Teams.
    • Work with the execution Team in managing prospects on Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal, and Questionnaires processes and deliver quality documents and presentations to clients and work collectively with Group sales, and asset management Sales Teams.
    • Work alongside the Deals Execution Team on client onboarding process and provide necessary market information and process flows.
    • Work closely with the deals execution Team in delivering excellent services experience to all clients.
    • Client analytics - In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, strategies, businesses, financial performance, industry outlook/trends, and general macro/economic issues/trends.
    • Ensure impeccable database of clients and relationship documentation at every point in time.
    • Manage the IB workflow dashboard and ensure it is up to date with all work currently being undertaken by existing clients.
    • Responsible for billing follow-up on outstanding IB fee collections.
    • Follow up on all contacts generated within and outside the Group to initiate the prompt conversion.
    • Prompt preparation and circulation of call notes from all client engagements e.g., visits, meetings, phone calls, conference calls, etc. Ensure deals origination dashboard data is kept current, accurate, and complete.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant financial services experience (investment banking, financial market depository, securities clearing) required.
    • Capital raising experience in the public capital market is required.
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics (or any of its related courses)
    • MBA or MSc. in Finance related discipline is an added advantage

    Sales Trader

    Job Summary

    • As a sales trader in Norrenberger Securities Limited, you will play an instrumental role in the development of revenue-driven business relationships with Institutional and Retail clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Research and identify new leads, business relationships, and ongoing market opportunities.
    •  Analyze clients' demand and investment objectives, and liaise with the Head, Business Development and Dealing team to illustrate trade strategies and ideas to clients.
    •  Provide proper after-trade services.
    • Main coverage of Financial Institutions and other non-banking institutions including corporates
    • Liaise with Research analysts, host corporates and participate in marketing/roadshow events.
    • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with a view to generating a high volume of transactions with existing and prospective clients.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Sales Trader

    Job Summary

    • As the Head, Human Capital Development, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing strategic initiatives to attract, retain and grow our employees, while supporting current and future business needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate the development and implementation of comprehensive people management strategy and plans, with focus on ensuring alignment with the company’s business strategy and mission critical business objectives.
    • Guide the continuous utilization of the company’s Performance Management framework in accurately assessing staff performance against agreed metrics and determining critical development needs.
    • Engage productively with Heads of Business Units/Departments to develop Key Performance indicators (KPIs) for different job roles in the company and agree measurable annual performance targets.

    • Support recruitment process review and work with other team members to develop a recruitment strategy, which builds upon employer brand.
    • Partner with hiring managers to identify current and future personnel needs
    • Conduct various employee welfare and engagement initiatives and employee relations communication for employees as required.
    • Defining and Aligning people’s strategy, policies to the overall company’s strategy.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Human Resource generalist, preferably in the Insurance Industry or a top tier financial service company.
    • Good collaboration and leadership skills
    • Good talent network and demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
    • CIPM or SHRM or SHPRI

    Job Summary

    • The Research and Insights Associate role is a critical part of the Norrenberger Strategy Development & Business Growth Team.
    • As a Research and Insights Associate, you are expected to provide research and insights on business, market, and economic issues across industries and sectors at Norrenberger Financial Group (NFG) in support of thought leadership, market positioning, business growth, customers, and stakeholder engagements.
    • The candidate will have specialised research skills and industry expertise to develop insightful research reports that will create and deliver high-impact value for the NFG business and provide thought ware to the market.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct research using primary and secondary research sources and techniques.
    • Perform data analysis, including developing assumptions and parameters.
    • Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis by connecting various pieces of information, identifying patterns, and forming logical structures to present a compelling story.
    • Present actionable insights using strong business writing, storyboarding, and visualization skills.
    • Synthesize data into meaningful conclusions and recommendations.

    • M.Sc., MBA, and/or professional qualifications are an added advantage.
