    Research and Insights Associate

    Job Summary

    • The Research and Insights Associate role is a critical part of the Norrenberger Strategy Development & Business Growth Team.
    • As a Research and Insights Associate, you are expected to provide research and insights on business, market, and economic issues across industries and sectors at Norrenberger Financial Group (NFG) in support of thought leadership, market positioning, business growth, customers, and stakeholder engagements.
    • The candidate will have specialised research skills and industry expertise to develop insightful research reports that will create and deliver high-impact value for the NFG business and provide thought ware to the market.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct research using primary and secondary research sources and techniques.
    • Perform data analysis, including developing assumptions and parameters.
    • Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis by connecting various pieces of information, identifying patterns, and forming logical structures to present a compelling story.
    • Present actionable insights using strong business writing, storyboarding, and visualization skills.
    • Synthesize data into meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
    • Execute research projects ensuring quality and timeliness while working independently or in teams.
    • Suggest alternatives, and creative solutions to address current and anticipatory needs of NFG’s business.
    • Write literature on varied business, industry, and market topics, including NFG’s products and services, as well as authoring thought leadership pieces.
    • Contribute input to the marketing strategy development process by articulating industry and sector focus.
    • Support the implementation of strategic plans across the businesses of NFG. 
    • Provide significant support in the communication and implementation of the Group’s strategic objectives.
    • Analysing specific economies, industries/sectors, and market segments, identifying emerging issues and trends and executing research strategies.

    Requirements

    • First degree in Economics / Statistics / Business / Other Social Sciences, alongside relevant experience. 
    • Minimum of (3-5 years) gained either internally in similar roles or externally via research, insights, growth, or strategy consultancy roles. 
    • M.Sc., MBA, and/or professional qualifications are an added advantage.
    • Competency in Business Writing
