    Complaints & Response Mechanism (CRM) Focal Person

    Location: Ngala LGA, Monguno LGA

    Duration: 6months

    Responsibilities

    Receiving and Recording Feedback

    • Support the setup and daily management of feedback and complaint channels (help desks, suggestion boxes, hotline support, in-person).
    • Receive and record complaints and feedback from beneficiaries and community members in a respectful, safe, and confidential manner.
    • Ensure all feedback is logged accurately into complaint logbooks or CRM tracking forms.

    Community Sensitization and Awareness

    • Conduct regular awareness-raising in communities on the purpose, availability, and use of the CRM.
    • Engage community members, including women, youth, and persons with disabilities, to ensure inclusive access to the feedback mechanism.
    • Clarify what kind of feedback or complaints can be submitted and the process for handling them.

    Safe Referrals and Coordination

    • Immediately flag and report sensitive or serious complaints (such as GBV, SEA, or child protection concerns) to the CRM Supervisor or Safeguarding Focal Point in line with referral protocols.
    • Support referral of general complaints to relevant departments and follow up as instructed.

    Documentation and Reporting

    • Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential records of all received complaints and feedback.
    • Submit daily or weekly reports to the CRM Supervisor summarizing the number and type of feedback received.
    • Ensure feedback data is protected and only accessible to authorized staff.

    Accountability and Learning

    • Support community engagement to ensure that feedback mechanisms are relevant and trusted.
    • Participate in feedback meetings or learning sessions to improve CRM practices and responsiveness.

    Minimum Qualification

    • Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent; diploma or degree in any social science is an advantage.
    • At least 1 year of experience in humanitarian or development work, preferably in community engagement or accountability roles.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with the local context and community dynamics.
    • Ability to speak English and relevant local languages fluently (e.g., Hausa, Kanuri).
    • Respect for confidentiality and sensitivity when handling complaints.

    Languages

    Fluency in English and Hausa, other spoken languages in the community, is an added advantage.

    FTR Field Level Supervisor

    Location: Ngala LGA, Monguno LGA

    Duration: 6months

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the identification, registration, and documentation of unaccompanied and separated children in the target locations.
    • Conduct family tracing and verification of family links through community networks, CPIMS+/PRIMERO, or inter-agency mechanisms.
    • Coordinate and facilitate family reunification processes, ensuring that they are safe, voluntary, and in the child’s best interest.
    • Provide or facilitate the provision of interim or alternative care when reunification is not immediately possible.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in accordance with case management standards and confidentiality policies.
    • Work closely with caseworkers, community focal points, and social workers to support ongoing tracing efforts.
    • Coordinate with government and humanitarian actors involved in child protection, especially the Ministry of Women Affairs, NAPTIP, and National/State tracing networks.
    • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all FTR activities, including success stories, challenges, and key data for monitoring and evaluation.
    • Participate in and contribute to case conferences, inter-agency referrals, and child protection working groups.
    • Facilitate awareness and sensitization sessions on family separation, alternative care, and child rights within communities and IDP camps.
    • Support capacity building of community-based child protection committees and volunteers on tracing and documentation.

    Minimum Qualification

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, Law, or a related field.
    • At least 2–3 years of experience in child protection programming, preferably in humanitarian or emergency settings.
    • Proven experience in family tracing and reunification, alternative care, or case management for vulnerable children.
    • Knowledge of CPIMS+/PRIMERO is an asset.
    • Strong understanding of child protection principles, best interest determination (BID), and safe reunification protocols.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a challenging environment.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Fluency in English and relevant local languages (e.g., Hausa, Kanuri) is highly desirable.
    • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and case management systems.

    Languages
