Job Responsibilities
- Ability to leverage the latest C#/.NET, .NET Core, and Entity Framework versions to architect, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications.
- Implementation of SOLID Principles to ensure the creation of resilient and scalable code architecture.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing MS-SQL and Azure DevOps platforms.
- Expertly craft RESTful APIs with proficiency and efficiency
- Assume ownership of projects and actively contribute to a collaborative, remote-first work environment.
- Provide a business-centric approach to software development, prioritizing high-value outcomes for our clients.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer. Experience working in a FinTech industry is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
- Experience with API design and implementation, database integration, and server-side logic.
- Familiarity with memory caching tools like Redis and Microservices architecture is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

He/she must be competent in Management Accounting functions and will be required to provide accounting & financial management services to SMEs as well as provide advice on best practices.

What you will be doing
- Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
- Ensure financial statements are prepared in line with regulatory standards
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for clients
- Identify trends, advise clients, and recommend actions based on sound analysis
- Perform historical assessments/reviews and work back
- Provide advisory services such as business valuation, budget preparation, template design, accounting framework and setup
- Attend clients’ meetings and/or board meetings
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legal requirements
- Other tasks as assigned
What you need to succeed
- 3+ years of hands-on Finance experience
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
- A member of a professional body e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFA (Part or Fully Qualified)
- Proven knowledge in financial reporting, internal auditing, financial analysis & management, financial software, Microsoft Suite and statistical analysis package
- Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Highly confidential with good integrity
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and result-oriented environment
- Ability to work in a team and multitask
- Client relationship and engagement skills

The ideal role holder is an experienced and highly motivated Accountant who is intelligent and capable of working with little to no supervision. He/she must be competent in Management Accounting functions, able to manage all finance-related operations, and wiliness to contribute to the growth of the organization by adequately helping the organization to make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finance

Job Responsibilities
These include but are not limited to:
- Manage all accounting transactions, including audit of financial transactions and documents.
- Prepare and manage financial reports such as balance sheets, profit/loss statements, payroll, and other financial statements.
- Provide strategic insights to support decision-making processes that impact the bottom line.
- Provide financial services such as business valuation, budget management, financial template design, review, and improvement of accounting framework.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are properly and timely recorded.
- Update and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable accordingly.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Present weekly/monthly reports and other relevant periodic reports on the financial status (such as the financial health and liquidity) of the company.
- Identify trends and recommend actions based on strategic analysis.
- Ensure compliance with best practices of financial policies and regulations across all finance activities.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database updates and backups when necessary.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on Finance Management/Accounting experience
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Industry knowledge is a plus
- A member of a professional body e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CFA
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proven knowledge of Financial Reporting, Internal Auditing, Financial Analysis & Management, Financial Software, and Microsoft Suite
