The Role

The ideal role holder is an experienced and highly motivated Accountant who is intelligent and capable of working with little to no supervision. He/she must be competent in Management Accounting functions, able to manage all finance-related operations, and wiliness to contribute to the growth of the organization by adequately helping the organization to make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finance

Most importantly, in line with the organization’s standards, he/she should be committed, hard-working, and particular about delivering quality work.

Job Responsibilities

These include but are not limited to:

• Manage all accounting transactions, including audit of financial transactions and documents.
• Prepare and manage financial reports such as balance sheets, profit/loss statements, payroll, and other financial statements.
• Provide strategic insights to support decision-making processes that impact the bottom line.
• Provide financial services such as business valuation, budget management, financial template design, review, and improvement of accounting framework.
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are properly and timely recorded.
• Update and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable accordingly.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Present weekly/monthly reports and other relevant periodic reports on the financial status (such as the financial health and liquidity) of the company.
• Identify trends and recommend actions based on strategic analysis.
• Ensure compliance with best practices of financial policies and regulations across all finance activities.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database updates and backups when necessary.
• Other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Finance Management/Accounting experience
• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Industry knowledge is a plus
• A member of a professional body e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CFA
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proven knowledge of Financial Reporting, Internal Auditing, Financial Analysis & Management, Financial Software, and Microsoft Suite
• Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Highly confidential with good integrity
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and result-oriented environment
