Finance Officer at Hikima Community Mobilization and Development Initiative

Job Purpose 

The Finance Officer will ensure effective financial management of project resources, compliance with Donor and organizational policies, accurate financial reporting and proper maintenance of financial records.

Key Responsibilities 

• Maintained accurate financial records and accounting documentation
• Process payments, advances and reimbursements 
• Verify supporting documents before payment processing 
• Prepare payment vouchers and journal entries 
• Maintain cashbooks, bankbooks and financial registers 
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budget
• Assist in budget preparation, revision and forecast 
• Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Records 
• Support Internal and External Audits 
• Provide Financial Management Support to field teams
