    Leasing Officer

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, from prospecting and negotiating leases to ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Estate management, Business, Finance, or related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in leasing
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
    • Proficiency in leasing software and Microsoft Office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure Physical Allocation of Shops
    • Collection of Service Charge and Rent.
    • Maintain a complete and comprehensive data base of all tenants in the complex as regards their lease and service charge.
    • Co-ordinate and update tenants on all leasing and statutory charges as it may arise.
    • Post and update customer record, and other income on ERP
    • Management of Tenants to ensure that:
      • Tenants cooperate in complying with the terms and conditions contained in the Tenant Handbook.
      • Tenants coordinate themselves in a way that is not detrimental to the Structure or the peace of the Arena.
      • Tenants do not contravene or permit the contravention of all applicable laws, by-laws and regulations at the Arena Market.
    • Prepare lease agreement, follow-up and ensure proper execution and issue receipt of all tenants and post the transactions/ cash collection on daily basis.
    • Plan, develop and execute monthly rent and service charge forecast and annual budget projections.
    • Reconcile monthly Tenants payment of rent and service charge. 
    • Effective collection of other income
    • Closing-up all income leakages.
    • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports/analysis on income lines.
    • Other special assignment(s), ad-hoc functions and related duties specified by your supervisor.

    • Work with various stakeholders, including management, staff, and external auditors, to ensure audit objectives are met.
