    Head of Research

    Job Summary

    As the Head of Research, you will lead all our research efforts, conducting research, collecting and analysing information, and using the data to solve problems and improve the decision-making and efficiency of the business and its clients.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Research market trends, conduct surveys, and analyse data from clients and competitors across various industries and fields to make recommendations.
    • Utilize data analysis and interpretations to guide the decision-making of the business and its clients.
    • Utilize operations data to develop marketing models.
    • Organize and analyse data, create charts and graphs, and present findings to the management.
    • Document processes and keep informed of technological advancements in research analysis.
    • Identify and understand problems through forecasting, gap analysis, quantitative reporting, research, and statistical analysis.
    • Meet with clients and vendors to discuss procedures.
    • Travel to conduct research and analyze data as required.
    • Ensure compliance with the company’s data governance guidelines.
    • Develop insight cards for business development opportunities.
    • Interpret complex and technical material for stakeholders who may not be experts.
    • Organize and store data for future research projects.
    • Test processes, policies, and protocols for efficiency and improvements.
    • Work with the Marketing and Client Services Team to provide solutions to client problems.
    • Measure the strategy effectiveness of the business.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Research, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a Research Analyst, with at least 2 of those years in a senior role.
    • Proficiency in research software programs, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI, Python, R, SAS, Tableau or equivalent.
    • Advanced knowledge of research methods, techniques, formulas, and tests.
    • Exceptional ability to interpret data and analyse trends, as well as preparing industry outlooks and forecasts.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate large complex data with high attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Extensive experience in summarizing and presenting findings in reports.

    Business Intelligence Associate

    Job Summary

    As the Business Intelligence Associate, you will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data across for the business and its clients. Your role will involve transforming raw data into meaningful insights, identifying trends and opportunities, and helping improve operational efficiency and strategic planning.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze and interpret data to provide metrics and understand requirements to build and implement successful initiatives for the company and its clients;
    • Research market and industry trends and patterns;
    • Solve business problems using statistical techniques and advanced programming languages;
    • Execute data extraction and manipulate client information from client information systems or other data sources;
    • Utilize statistical modeling solutions to forecast potential new client acquisition, defection, retention programs, and cross-selling opportunities;
    • Use CRM or other Marketing Automation Tools to assist with the development and implementation of targeted sales leads, cross-selling, and client relationship retention, and client acquisition, utilizing predictive modeling techniques;
    • Support CRM (Customer Relationship Management) strategies by using methodologies/systems such as client profiling, behavior analysis, and segmentation, to strategy development and impact assessment and performance;
    • Create and produce ongoing monthly reports and metrics in company areas such as client acquisition, client retention, client defection, product penetration, cross-sell rates, balance retention and segmentation metrics;
    • Produce dashboards and reports using the Master Customer Information File (MCIF) system;
    • Develop standardized internal controls to ensure continued data quality for visibility of metrics for analysis;
    • Stay up to date with current developments for new data mining techniques, programming, and marketing automation;
    • Provide support and guidance to junior analysts in report creation;
    • Recommend changes and improvements based on research findings to improve clients\' business models, goals and milestone expectations;
    • Use web analytics platforms and reporting tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics to provide timely integrated reports/dashboards to internal customers to drive tactical programs and inform the optimization of paid search (PPC) and Social Advertising campaigns;
    • Inform the strategic development of digital campaigns by understanding relevant market data and competitive insights, as well as an understanding of prospects/audience intelligence;
    • Work with all business units to improve intelligence reporting and analysis.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Research, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 4 - 5+ years of experience in Marketing Strategy Development, Data Mining, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Marketing Research and/or Project Management
    • Experience working with large datasets using data analysis tools such as Excel (pivot tables, VB scripting), Access, Business Objects, Tableau, or SQL
    • Advanced knowledge of research methods, techniques, formulas, and tests.
