    General Manager Operations

    Purpose:

    • Provision of strategic and operational leadership to all business units for efficient service delivery, provision of resource, process, and performance management to drive operational excellence and cost optimisation, and provision of risk management, compliance, and governance oversight across organisational operations.

    Responsibilities

    KRA 1:

    • Operational Performance & Service Delivery
    • Oversee the effective execution of daily operations across all business units.
    • Ensure consistent delivery of services in line with approved service standards and timelines.
    • Monitor operational performance metrics and address gaps promptly.
    • Resolve operational challenges and service disruptions to minimise downtime.
    • Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, and service quality.

    KRA 2:

    • Financial Management & Cost Optimisation
    • Develop and manage operational budgets in line with organisational objectives.
    • Monitor operational expenditure to ensure cost efficiency and budgetary compliance.
    • Implement cost-reduction and waste-elimination initiatives without compromising quality.
    • Support financial planning through accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
    • Collaborate with finance teams to improve operational profitability and margins.

    KRA 3:

    • Leadership, Governance & Process Improvement
    • Lead, coach, and performance-manage operations teams to achieve strategic goals.
    • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, regulatory standards, and governance frameworks.
    • Establish clear accountability structures and performance management systems.
    • Drive process improvement, change management, and operational best practices.
    • Promote a culture of discipline, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

    Specification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Master’s degree (MBA or related field) is highly preferred.
    • Professional Qualification in CIPM, ACA, NIM is an added advantage
    • Over 10 years of progressive experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior operations or general management role.

    Talent Acquisition Partner

    The successful candidate will be a strategic recruitment professional with proven experience operating in complex, multi-country environments. You will partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to deliver efficient, inclusive, and high-quality recruitment processes while managing diverse stakeholder expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with business leaders across Central and Western Africa to understand workforce plans and recruitment priorities.
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across multiple countries, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding support.
    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using multiple channels (direct sourcing, job boards, referrals, networking, and market mapping).
    • Build strong talent pipelines for critical roles across the region.
    • Provide market intelligence on talent availability, salary benchmarks, and hiring trends across relevant African markets.
    • Ensure recruitment practices comply with local labour laws and company policies across multiple jurisdictions.
    • Coordinate and manage complex stakeholder relationships across different countries, time zones, and business functions.
    • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
    • Support employer branding initiatives across Central and Western Africa.
    • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reporting to HR and business leadership.

    Key Requirements

    • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, preferably within multinational or regional organisations.
    • Demonstrated recruitment experience across multiple countries in Central and Western Africa.
    • Strong understanding of recruitment practices, labour markets, and hiring regulations across the region.
    • Experience working in a complex stakeholder environment with senior business leaders.
    • Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and assessment skills.
    • Strong project management and organisational abilities.
    • High level of cultural awareness and ability to work across diverse teams.
    • Strong communication and influencing skills.
    • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment analytics tools.
    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (CIPD certification is an advantage).

    Technical Sales Personnel

    Purpose:

    • Provision of technical expertise to support sales activities, provision of solutions-based customer engagement, and provision of pre- and post sales technical support to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    KRA 1: Sales & Customer Engagement

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
    • Present technical solutions to clients to meet their needs.
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
    • Provide technical demonstrations and presentations to clients.

    KRA 2: Technical Support & Solution Design

    • Collaborate with engineering teams to propose customised solutions.
    • Analyse client requirements and recommend appropriate products or services.
    • Prepare technical documentation for proposals and quotations.
    • Resolve technical queries from clients promptly.
    • Support product testing or trials as needed.

    KRA 3: Market Analysis & Reporting

    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Provide feedback on competitor products and customer requirements.
    • Maintain accurate sales and technical reports for management.
    • Monitor sales performance and recommend improvements.
    • Support marketing initiatives with technical input and product knowledge.

    Specification

    • B.Eng./B.Sc./HND in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.MBA/M.Sc. is an added advantage.
    • Professional membership in relevant engineering or sales bodies is advantageous.
    • 3–7 years of experience in technical sales.
